We had a new toilet from Saneo installed 18 months ago. Last week we noticed that one of the metal hinges attaching the seat was missing a screw, causing the seat to close unevenly with the risk of breaking. When we called the shop asking for a replacement, they told us that they had the component in stock and we could come to the shop (all the way across town) and purchase it. When we pointed out that the toilet was still under guarantee, the employee told us that this was not always the case as some components, such as glass medicine cabinet doors (!), were not covered. When we insisted, he said he would look into it, but no news so far. Saneo products are not cheap and we find this abysmal customer service unacceptable. Any normal company would have sent us the small component without further ado.
