Changemaker

I am surprised that a shop who advertises itself as ethical would consider selling dead animals’ skin for profit. They sell lamb leather bags, which if you consider it, means ending the life of another living being, and a baby at that, skinning it, and hanging it up for people to paw and gawk at, all in the name of “ethical” fashion. In my opinion, this highly hypocritical and should be denounced. It makes you question the whole “ethical” façade, and wonder what other suffering is hiding behind their products. The concept loses all credibility and attraction by being highly inconsistent. I will not shop here in future.

Sustainable" is pretty much the opposite of how I would describe a shop that in 2022 thinks it's acceptable to mail unsolicited marketing material in paper form (disregarding the "no publicity" stickers too

Dear store owner,I visited the Changemaker store located Europaallee 43a, 8004 Zürich on June 27th, 2023, at around 6:30 pm. Unfortunately, it was an incredibly disappointing experience and the worst I have ever encountered.Upon entering the store, I felt extremely uncomfortable as the lady working there gave me a suspicious and discriminating look. While she warmly greeted other customers, she chose to ignore me and simply stared without uttering a word. As a Japanese individual, it was disheartening to feel unwelcome and treated differently solely based on my ethnicity. That was my perception.It's a shame because the store itself is quite beautiful, and I had initially intended to make a purchase. However, due to this unpleasant encounter, I have decided that I will never return.I sincerely hope that the staff member at Changemaker will treat all customers equally and refrain from engaging in discriminatory behavior.Thank you
