Horrible... just horrible.... a little bit of background first: we lived in Ireland for more than 10 years and met the most awesome people over there and that's why today's experience feels even more terrible.. now for the situation... we went to the Irish embassy to apply for a business Visa for my husband...the man at the reception was cold from the beginning (no hello ... no smile... nothing) then he looked very very quickly at my husband's application and (thank God there was the glass in between us because otherwise I am convinced he would have thrown the documents back our face) just said ...incomplete" then with no further explanation went back inside

As the Irish Prayer said “Grant me a sense of humor, Lord, the saving grace to see a joke, to win some happiness from life, and pass it on to other folks.” I just wanted to say thank you so much for writing me a letter of advice. I greatly appreciate your assistance with my problem solutions. I am not Irish. But the Irish embassy was very quick to answer my question. In a friendly and humorous way, they were able to walk the situation through international legal protocol accurately. People create their country. Irish people are amazingly kind, helpful and positive hearts. The information and advice you gave made all the difference in helping me to focus me solve my problem. I am delighted to be able to present the extraordinary spirit of intercultural communication as an experience from Ireland to Switzerland.
