Switzerland is very expensive, some meals in tourist area restaurants starting at $60 for just an entree.The Coop is a department store, grocery store and many of them have a restaurant. The restaurant offers a buffet, individual meals, dessert bar, and salad bar. It has good seating in many of them. The prices are much lower than anywhere else. The food is excellent.

Can fill our plate as much as you can and pay is depending on the plate size. Juice, cakes and coffee are separately payable. It's worth. Restaurant got good seating capacity..

A reasonably priced buffet with a great staff. Freshly cooked beef, big salad bar. Hidden on the top floor. Lots of Coops with food to go, this one has a nice dining area

Very nice selection of food and spacious. A major plus for me was the indoor playground, good to enjoy a coffee and cake while the little ones can occupy themselves for a while.

There is an option to chose a size of your plate (3 sizes available) and pay for the plate so to say. Then you can fill your plate as much as you want with your preferred foods. Quite a bit of variety, especially in the salad bar. I chose the medium size. 10 CHF. Definitely worth every penny!

Visited as tourists. It was a very nice visit. At the top floor of the Coop city supermarket building (accessible by lift, stairs or escalator) you will enter the Coop restaurant which offers a lot of nice food. The menu changes every day and offers international and local cuisine for a very good price. My wife ordered a thai curry with rice and tofu and I ordered a tuna steak which were perfect (especially the tuna steak!!!). The prices includes different side dishes. The restaurant relies on self service. You can also add/choose a salad and different kinds of desserts/sweets. They offer reduced prices when you combine different salads/drinks/desserts. There are a lot of seats so even during lunch times should be enough space.

Excellent food. There is a salad buffet and included is a good selection of hot food. To top it, separately priced Fresh juices, desserts and pizzas with a nice atmosphere.

This was considered one of the valued and cheapest meal we had in swiss. And its Tasty! It goes by size and just use your puzzle skills to pile on what you wanted to eat. Smile at the cashier and eat! Plenty of seatings here too
