Good gym. One feels well protected from coronavirus transmission with access to disinfectants and good social distance. Friendly staff.

Good location but old Equipments!

You do not have a lot of choice of gyms in Geneva unfortunately, so I have been stuck with Silhouette for years. It is true that they have centres pretty much everywhere, but unfortunately they do not invest in hygiene and maintenance. Most of the hammams in their centres have been broken for years, and changing rooms are often falling apart.

RIDICULOUS new dress code rules. You must wear a shirt with sleeves and shorts must be to your knees. What kind of gym does not allow tank tops? This seems to be a new rule and I can only hope they change it. There's nothing inappropriate about showing your arms and for exercise it is often preferred. What an out-dated, frustrating rule :(Equipment selection is good but a bit worn down and definitely could use new/more resistance bands and loops. I often bring my own. There is only 1 squat rack but usually not a wait for it. Many barbells but not all standard size and the labels are nearly rubbed off so you are often guessing how many kg you're lifting. There is a full set of dumbbells and an array of benches. Two bench set ups, one inclined press, one overhead press.Machine selection is good and there is some accessory equipment like med balls, trx, kettlebells, stall bars, mats, equilizer bars, pilates balls, a bosu, etc. Hopefully they will get more bands.There is no option to try the gym without committing to at least a year of membership. It would be good if I could occasionally bring a friend to the gym but it is not included in the membership and they can't simply pay for a day pass.There seems to be a full group exercise schedule with well-attended classes. I don't take them as I prefer to just lift so I don't know more.Towels cost 2 euro to rent. The locker rooms are quite nice though not fancy. Lockers are free to use while you work out. There is a modest sauna and hamman in each locker room as well as showers.I will keep the review updated if changes are made.

You can get a good workout here using the many machines available. However, I think they could use a dedicated deadlift area (it was not clear to me where I would be able to do heavy deadlifts!). The cardio area had many alternatives as well.

Good place but not best place

Convenient if you work near the airport. Well equipped and the sauna is separate for women which is not the case for all Activ locations.
