Good eBike, reasonable price 28 chf for 2 hours which is enough for riding to the end of valley and back plus plenty of pic stops. This way you will still have time to go visit Mürren for a day trip. Walking one way takes 1.5 hr. Loved the speed and service at this shop.

The staff here was friendly and efficient. Renting was quick and painless. They are not far from the train station. We got electric mountain bikes, and they were awesome bikes in good condition. The best ebike I've rented and not the most expensive either.

I rarely write reviews. If you are reading this and debating renting a bike here, stop reading and commit. E-biking around and on top of this valley was one of the best experiences of my life. The views are life-changing, which are difficult to see all of on foot.We did a big loop, went from Lauterbrunnen to Stechelberg and took the cable car up with the bikes, got off at Gimmelwald (amazing town), rode up to Mürren and continued all the way to Isenfluh and then back down to the valley again. Took us about 5 hours, and hardly a sweat was broken with the help of the e-bikes that make pedalling uphill so much easier. This is helpful if you are tired and sore from a lot of days spent already hiking and walking around.The staff, especially Lucia, are kind, empathetic and helpful in planning a route or giving friendly, multilingual advice. Bikes were in excellent condition.I will never forget the views I saw. Thank you Imboden Bike!

We rented bikes to bike in Lauterbrunnen. What a great experience! David (from Portugal!) set us up with great bikes, the best bikes we've ever rented--seemed new, in great condition. Helped us find good routes. Have rarely found such friendly service anywhere. Bike rental rates very reasonable. Would highly recommend renting from here!

The team at Imboden bike shop was amazing! They were super helpful and got us set up with our rental bikes so quickly and easily. This was hands down the best thing we did our whole entire trip in Switzerland! We had the best time biking around and taking in the most beautiful scenery I’ve ever seen in my life. Do yourself a favor and do this!!!

I recently signed up for the Eiger Bike Challenge on short notice from America. They were very helpful in renting me the best bike for the race.When I got there everyone was incredible. They helped me fit the bike and get it ready for 80km (52 miles)Everyone was polite and incredibly helpful and encouraging from the owner and his son, to Trina and “The Portuguese”Great service. Great prices. Great experience.

Der Inhaber Werner Imboden ist ein Herz von einer Seele, hilft immer, ist nett und hat immer einen lustigen Spruch auf den Lippen. Die Werkstatt ist wohl das kompetenteste was im Berner Oberland zu finden ist. Hier tickt das Herz noch an der richtigen Stelle und ganz erhlich, wer im schönsten Tal der Welt lebt, hat immer ein Lächeln im Gesicht. Imboden Bike ist uneingeschränkt zu empfehlen.

What a fantastic bike shop!! David took great care of us from start to finish. He’s knowledgeable, personable, and super helpful. The bikes were the nicest we’ve ever rented. They weren’t eBikes, so we were prepared for sketchy shifting. Nope! Smoothest mountain bikes ever!! He directed us to a great path and we had a wonderful 4 hour ride! Highly recommend!!

Fahrrad Werkstatt Montags leider geschlossen.Der Grund für die schlechte Bewertung ist allerdings das sehr unfreundlich und nicht hilfsbereite Personal.In unserer klar ersichtlichen Notsituation des defekten Fahrrads wollten sie uns nicht weiterhelfen, da die Werkstatt ja geschlossen sein.Auf Nachfrage nach alternativen Werkstätten oder ob das benötigte Ersatzteil verfügbar sei gab es nur eine pauschale Antwort das Montags alle Werkstätten geschlossen seien.Daraufhin sind wir mit dem Zug nach Interlaken gefahren wo uns ohne großes nachfragen im nächsten Fahrradgeschäft schnell geholfen wurde.Ebenso zeigt die Antwort auf diese Rezension wie hier der menschliche Umgangston ist.

Best experience during our vacation in Switzerland! We asked for recommendations, and they gave us a great itinerary. Views and restaurants we would not have found on our own. We spent a whole day, and could have easily spent the whole week exploring via bike. The price is inclusive of a helmet and lock (just a deposit), and was a great value for an e-bike rental. The battery lasts for a long time, but we were gone most the day and when switching trails stopped back by for a battery exchange (finished with plenty left though). We did manage to get a flat tire on the trip, and they were out to where we were in ten minutes. Instead of fixing there, they just brought another bike so we could be on our way faster. Recommend an e-bike, as the inclines are no joke even with pedal assist. Slight price increase enabled us to see so much more then we would have otherwise. Highly recommend this company, and their great employees!
