Locarno Film Festival

We chose a movie that starts at 21:30 on the homepage and made a reservation, but two movies were shown in the square that evening, and the movie I wanted was the second one that started at 23:30...!!!!!!!!!They didn't write down each time for the two movies on their homepage. In the end, I had to come back home without seeing the movie I wanted because it was too late....I don't think this lack of information is right for international events.

Very nice atmosphere watching the premiere of Free Guy in Piazza Grande!

We drove 5 hours and payed lots of money to go to the locarno filmfestival, because we wanted to watch our childhood favourite film (terminator) on the big screen for once. We waited in torrential rain for the film to begin, it started half an our late, but we thought that little problem. Guess what. Some other film started although on the webside it is clearly stated that terminator will show at 21:30. We asked around and soon found out that also another film was announced to be shown at 21:30. How is this possible? It is not. Terminator will show after this other 2h (!) long movie and we sat in the rain for over an hour for nothing! The producer of terminator even got her price but the film isn't shown afterwards? is this a bad joke? im sorry to say it but this is straight up customer fraud. My brother came only for this movie to the festival and has to leave early the next morning. He spent time and money for nothing, was betrayed so to say

Super Festival! Stühle leider zusammengebrochen während dem Film! Schlechte Qualität der Stühle!

2 Filme wurden um 21:30 angekündet auf dem Piazza Grande. Terminator und ein anderer Film. Nicht nur mussten wir bei sehr starkem Regen draussen ausharren, sondern nach ewiger Danksagung an die Regisseuren begann der andere Film. Obwohl Terminator auf der Homepage um 21:30 angekündet wurde wird er erst um 00:00 laufen. Grauenhafte Erfahrung nicht weiterzuempfehlen.

Greatest even in Locarno

Absolute Frechheit. Am Samstag dem 07.08.2021 sind wir 5 Stunden lang nach Locarno gefahren, um den Film Terminator, welcher überall für 21.30 Uhr angeschrieben war zu schauen. Als wir dort sassen fing um 22.00 Uhr ein anderer 2-Stündiger Film an und Terminator wurde erst um 00.00 abgespielt!!?Keine Info, nichts. Dafür haben wir im Regen ausgeharrt.
