Einfach nur enttäuschend dieser Kundenservice. Bei der Buchungsbestätigung sind ganz klar Sachen im Preis inbegriffen, vor Ort will man davon nichts mehr wissen.Seit Anfangs Juli beim Kundenservice eine Anfrage offen und nie etwas gehört.Verdient keinen Stern. Sorry

Absolute Katastrophe. Wir haben vom 14. -19 Mai 22 bei Avis einen Wagen gemietet. Uns wurden im nachherein Schäden in Rechnung gestellt welche nicht von uns verursacht wurden ( konnten dies mit Fotos beweisen). Trotz Bestätigung von AVIS, dass die Schäden nicht von uns stammen wurde der doppelte Betrag via hinterlegter Kreditkartennummer ohne unser Einverständnis abgebucht (ca 1000.00 Sfr). Heute ist 1. August das Geld haben wir nicht bekommen und ein arroganter Kundendienst meldet sich nicht. Man befindet sich in irgendeiner endlosen Internetschleife. Wenn Fehler gemacht werden sollte man zu diesen stehen und diese möglichst schnell aus der Welt schaffen. Die Firma Avis kann mit solchen Situationen nicht umgehen. Wir können nach diesen Erfahrungen die Firma Avis und ihr Kundendienst überhaupt nicht empfehlen. Es gibt bestimmt Konkurrenten die es besser machen.

KATASTROFALER SERVICE!!!!! Ein von AVIS vermietetes Fahrzeug steht auf meinem Privatparkplatz. Nachdem mich die Dame am Telefon schon sehr frech darauf hingewiesen hat, hochdeutsch zu sprechen, meinte sie, es ist nicht ihre Aufgabe den Mieter zu kontaktieren. Ich solle mich gefälligst selbst um meinen Parkplatz kümmern. Hat dabei höhnisch gelächelt, ja fast ausgelacht! Hat mich nicht ausreden lassen, um mir am Ende das Telefon aufzulegen während ich noch gesprochen habe!!!!!! ICH WÜRDE HIER NIE EIN FAHRZEUG MIETEN, werde meine Erfahrung all meinen Freunden, Bekannten, Verwandten, Nachbaren, Unbekannten, einfach JEDEM weitererzählen!!!! Grüess us Rümlang

We were here in the start of June and it was the best car rental experience I've had so far. We had pre-booked a car online. The man working at the desk was really friendly and gave us a nice free upgrade from a station wagon to a bigger SUV (Nissan Qashqai).The car was very clean and had built in GPS at no extra charge and everything was smooth sailing. He even gave us recommendations on places to visit, such as Luzern.We dropped the car off at a different location, but that also went smoothly. We had already paid for insurance and we did not receive any hidden charges afterwards.

Konnte mein Fahrzeug nicht mit Kreditkarte bezahlen (zwei Kreditkarten funktionierten nicht) Musste Bargel organiseren und 600 als Depot hinterlegen. Fahrezeug nach Schalterschluss zurück gebracht. Musste erneut hinfahren und den Restbetrag abholen, eine Überweisung war nicht möglich. Willkommen im Jahre 2023!?

Be careful with Avis. I have rented a car for 4 months at the location in Montpellier, and was told, that a maximum rental of 3 months is possible only, and I should come back and extend the contract by another month. I was charged roundly EUR 1'800 per month, whereas the fee was going up every month a little bit, which was ok. And then, the contract was extended by another month. At the time of the extension, I was not told that they use a weekly rate that is higher by factor 4.7! compared to the first 3 months and a daily rate that was higher by factor 5.9!!! That was resulting in a monthly fee for the last month of EUR 4'000, and it was still the same contract! This means, I had to pay roundly EUR 5'400 for the first 3 months, and EUR 4'000 for the last month! This is a complete rip-off and tricksters are playing with loyal customers here!And when I called the Swiss representation (I am a Swiss resident) as a closing of the whole story, instead of getting support from a person that listens what problem I have, for me to understand their profiteering usury pricing plan, and how they charge you arbitrarily and sneaky, I had the chance to speak to a person that was non-stop talking and did not even understand what was going wrong, and I was told to think logically (yes, the person was giving me advice...), and that the 4th month was shorter, that is why it is more expensive. How the hell can I pay almost the same amount in one month that I paid for 3 whole months within the same contract! If you can walk another 5 meters, rather book at another rental! I am done with Avis... Cheers for losing a customer that generated EUR 10'000 in half a year for you, oh yeah... and send your customer service folks to a manner training, they do not seem to have understood their job...

Wir haben bei Bayram einen Transitwagen kurzfristig (i.e. am selben Samstag noch)vermietet bekommen, was ein „life saver“ war.Bei Depotrückgabe einige Wochen später erkannte er mich, bevor ich überhaupt aus dem Auto ausstieg und wir konnten den Prozess so innert wenigen Minuten abwickeln.Zusammengefasst: sehr professionell und zugleich freundlich und hilfreich.Gerne wieder mal - merci!

The service lady asked big deposit at the start, but it was suspecious treatment. She asked for my identity. I did it. She was not wearing the official avis uniform with badge, so i politely asked her to identify herself too. She refused it, making skandal. I took a picture, she called the police. The car rental was over. Never again avis zürich. Not a service company, just an übermensch office.
