One of the best meals we are during our vacation!! This place was so cute, tons of outdoor seating, and the service was excellent. The menus are all in three languages so very easy to understand! The dessert was my favorite and the swiss dishes were amazing to try! Also they have a large selection of beer and wine for a perfect evening dinner!

Sehr freundlicher und aufgestellter Service. Die Brotstation fand ich speziell gut. Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt - auf der wohl spektakulärsten Terasse direkt an der Reuss. Jederzeit zu empfehlen. Nicht nur für Touristen auch wir Einheimischen sind willkommen.

I took one of my friends from foreign country and they wanted to eat cheese fondue. Normally people eat it only in winter so it was good that they serve those winter foods in early summer. The service people are friendly but sometimes they can’t see what is most priority. You have to wait long to order foods and they don’t come often to check our drinks are still there or anything to order additional even though so less guest war…But the foods are very good!

Made a reservation in advance of our vacation at the recommendation of a good friend. Requested a table on the balcony as my friend said the view would be good. When we arrived at the hotel, we entered on the ground floor next to the river. The restaurant was very busy (as are most restaurants along the river) but it seemed that nearly half of the tables outside had people smoking. It made us very glad that we booked a table on the smaller balcony upstairs so that we could be away from the smoke. There were maybe 6 or 7 tables on the balcony and when we first got there we were very impressed with the view and service. But then people at 2 of the tables near us started smoking. It was overpowering and ruined the experience. In my opinion, the restaurant encourages smoking by placing ash trays at every table. I was really surprised that smoking was allowed in restaurants there as I thought Switzerland was a very healthy country. I did give feedback directly to the hotel later and they just said that it's impossible to separate smokers from non-smokers. I disagree, they could make the balcony seating smoke free and limit smoking to the tables downstairs closest to the river. If you are bothered by cigarette smoke, I would avoid this hotel. That is sad because the views, food and service are great.

I was more excited for this than what I got out of it. We tried the cheese fondue and maybe it was because it had alcohol in it (?) It tasted pretty bitter and though we got accustomed to it, we didn't love it. Is that just cheese fondue everywhere here? Otherwise had the cordon blue pork which was good. Despite other reviews about service, our waiter was friendly and quick. We didn't get to sit by the water as it was full when we arrived around 12pm but it was still a nice atmosphere.Menu in many languages!Pricey- tourist trap or just Switzerland? Maybe both. 30-40 cfh for each item we got.

Great little spot close to main attraction bridge service was wonderfull staff so friendly food was amazing we sat closest to the river so amazing great spot highly recommend

This was the first restaurant we tried in Lucerne. It was short walk from the hotel, situated right on the river, and had had fondue on the menu - trifecta!First of all, you can't beat the setting. This was one of the most picturesque meals we enjoyed in Switzerland. We sat outside right on the river and could have stayed all day.The service was excellent. Very friendly and clearly used to tourists. Their recommendations (and explanations) we excellent. The menu is seasonal and everything was very fresh. The portions were very large as well. Everything we tried was delicious. We especially enjoyed the fondue and seasonal salads.You're also just a few steps from the shopping district, which is perfect for walking off all those calories!

We stopped in while walking around the area. We did not have a reservation and they were still able to seat us right away. The restaurant is beautiful with lots of open air seating. They have a downstairs, a balcony, and seating right by the river. Our server was busy but attentive. We all ordered Swiss dishes from the menu. The best of those was the salmon trout which was excellent! It was a pleasant evening.

Excellent place to dine along the river with a stunning view. I am not an expert in Swiss food, but I like their cheese fondue. The wine and Limoncello were top-notch too. Obviously it's expensive, but so are other restaurants in this touristy city.

Die Reservierung im Restaurant ging einwandfrei und Probleme. Haben uns sehr gefreut auf den Besuch.Der Ausblick ist unglaublich schön.. der Rest eher weniger. Die Tische und Stühle im Außenbereich wackelig und unbequem. Die Kellner teilweise freundlich, jedoch sehr verwirrt und gestresst, was man bei einem vollen Lokal verstehen kann, aber Schadenbegrenzung sieht anders aus..Es ging schon bei den Getränken los, die Karte etwas unverständlich, auch beim Essen, sodass man ohne 10 mal nachzufragen nicht bestellen kann. Getränke kamen schnell, essen auch, jedoch wurde ein Essen komplett vergessen und erst nach dem alles andere bereits aufgegessen war gebracht. Da waren wir schon satt.. ebenfalls wurde ein Gedeckzuschlag berechnet, weil man sich zu 4 nur 3 Gerichte geteilt hat.. das witzige, es wurden nur 3 Gedecke bereitgestellt. Das essen war okay.. leider lieblos angerichtet und das man sich das Brot selbst holen muss, hat einem auch niemand gesagt. Im grossen und ganzen eher schlecht als recht und wir werden nicht noch einmal dort essen.
