I do not recommend this school. very limited educational follow-up. unmotivated teachers. some tests are done only to make a school ranking and when it is not suitable, finally the grades are not taken into account. very little sport and poorly organized. no school trip. really disappointed. the only thing that is good, in small classes is the possibility of learning two languages and the management by teachers during the Covid was very good. based on a 2019-2021 experience

Maybe the school needs to review its concept. One of the paragraphs of the site says:SIS is a place of learning, in a holistic way. We care about the development of emotional and social skills as much as for the acquisition of knowledge. As a day school, we are committed to doing everything we can to support children as they grow up and to provide a valuable complement to their family life. This includes lunchtime meal offers, before- and after-school care, and homework supervision as well as exciting activities, even during school holidays.Teachers are not prepared to receive foreign students. They don’t know any technique to integrate kids that does not speak any English or German. Also the school has no anti bullying policy giving priority to the students that do the bullying and not the ones that suffer. After meetings and meetings trying to solve this issue, nothing was done. Not because they did not want, but because they don’t know how to address. Regarding the homework after school, the German teacher did not correct it. I found out after 8 months that the homework was incomplete because the German teacher was not there to correct it delegating to the classmates.Another paragraph:We are convinced that the place where students learn has a decisive influence on how they learn. We therefore place great importance on an open school space that provides a welcoming atmosphere to students, staff, parents and guests alike, thus creating a pleasant overall environment. We cultivate multiple signature school events and regularly participate in activities that involve all SIS schools around the globe.Not sure if this unit of the school is really convinced. Welcoming atmosphere to students? Pleasant Environment? You should really review it before enrolling your kid.At the end, even with all evidences that the school does not deliver what they promise, the want you to follow the contract and pay a 10 weeks fess as a notice period.Just wondering if they really care about your child or about the contract.
