B&B Hotel St. Gallen

Rooms could use a minifridge and perhaps a kettle. Wonderful bathroom and bed size. We had no problems with air-conditioning. Location is great, we were spontaneously offered a city map and public transport tickets (paid for by the tourist tax apparently). Breakfast is extra, probably worth the money for people in hurry. What stands out the most to me are the receptionists, which were very polite and helpful. If I return to the area, I will definitely consider this hotel again.

Ich war schon in einigen B&B Hotels, dieses war leider das schlechteste. Das Zimmer war ganz nett und sauber. Preise für den Tiefgaragenstellplatz zwar saftig aber damit haben wir gerechnet. Die Lage ist gut, in 15 Minuten ist man in die Innenstadt gelaufen. Das Frühstück allerdings war miserabel. Am ersten Tag wurde überhaupt nichts aufgefüllt, es gab kein Obst, die Kaffeemaschine hat auch über eine halbe Stunde wegen einer Fehlermeldung nicht funktioniert und es war kein Mensch aufzufinden, der sich darum kümmert. Am zweiten Morgen war unser Eindruck etwas besser, insgesamt aber nicht unbedingt empfehlenswert, das Frühstück hier mit zu buchen.

The welcome was brilliant, warm, friendly, relaxed, funny. Recommendations were perfect for us and all the team we spoke with were genuinely incredibly helpful. Room was great, as was the location, nice, safe and quiet.

Gutes, sauberes B&B Hotel. Lage ist durch die nahen Eisenbahnschienen etwas laut, aber zum Übernachten völlig in Ordnung. Service Top, Zimmer sauber, Tiefgarage groß und Hell, auch für größere Fahrzeuge gut geeignet.

Modernes Hotel in einem Neubau. Sehr schöne Zimmer, unseres war sehr geräumig. Trotz Sicht auf den Bahnhof war unser Zimmer sehr ruhig. Tiefgarage kostet extra. Das Personal war sehr freundlich.

this was definitely the best hotel i’ve stayed at my whole trip and i’ve stayed at a lot floating around europe. i stayed for 3 nights and had the most amazing experience! :) the rooms were modern, they had a microwave in the lobby, right by st fiden station 5 minute walk, the beds were comfortable it was just perfect. shower was also sooo big and nice!BEST PART WERE THE STAFF! since i’m american, some places i’ve been have been rude which i assume is due to that. but these guys literally are amazing i cannot stress that enough. specifically the girl with black hair in a ponytail (i think she has bangs) that works reception (nights?) and the blonde haired girl that worked reception as well (mornings?) - they were both the best. so cute, kind, and perfect. they both need a raise or some serious recognition. they do everything to make it enjoyable for you and put in hard work to make people smile. i love these girls so much and i will forever recommend this hotel. the blonde girl learned i liked red bull over coffee so when my friend came down she would ask if i wanted one :’) like there’s no beating that. they care about YOU and want YOU to be comfortable. this is just a magical, warm, inviting place that i was happy to stay at!

Oh this place is so nice for the price you pay. Martina ( i hope i got her name right) the receptionist is one of the nicest and most helpful person. the place is clean and healthy. Highly recommend. Not too far from the centre.

Gutes und sauberes Standard- Hotel. Für ein/zwei Nächte okay. Wir haben es als Ausgangspunkt zur Erkundung der Stadt genutzt. Die Nächte waren sehr laut. Die Luft im Zimmer war bei laufender Klimaanlage ziemlich schlecht, so dass wir das Fenster öffnen mussten. In der Straße ist aktuell grad eine Baustelle, so dass wir nicht nur Verkehrslärm, sondern auch Baustellenlärm hörten.Zimmerservice war von Freitag bis Sonntag nicht bei uns. Die Betten waren nicht gemacht, gut, Handtücher müssen nach einer Nutzung noch nicht gewechselt werden...Frühstück haben wir nicht gebucht, deshalb kann ich zur Qualität nichts schreiben. Der Frühstücksraum" sah allerdings nicht sehr einladend aus.Zu Fuß haben wir eine knappe halbe Stunde zu einem sehr schönen Café in der Innenstadt (Gschwen) gebraucht. Frühstück kostet hier genauso und schmeckt herrlich!Fazit: Günstig schlafen

It’s a three star so little to complain about though I’ll list the good and bad.- overpriced but it’s Switzerland after all, everything is expensive.- check in was slow because he couldn’t find our booking, don’t know why- they don’t give the free travel card and a city map unless you ask, not acceptable- not sure what you do if there’s issues after 22:30 when reception is closed. On one day, our room wasn’t cleaned so we had no towels!- excellent room size- excellent shower- excellent location, less than 5 minutes for train and buses to St Gallen 9, 11 and 6.- restaurants not particularly close but can be found on main road behind hotel. Chinese, Italian and pizza. Supermarket close by.- not sure air con was working properly as I was still too hot- quilts too hot for Summer- found beds too narrow- coffee and tea available at reception with a reasonable priceWe didn’t have breakfast so we can’t comment. A few issues dealt with quickly.Staff could acknowledge you as you enter the hotel but chose not to even though they weren’t busy.

Schönes Hotel, einfacher check- in.Zimmer in Ordnung, leider kein Kühlschrank, sauber gepflegt.Junge blonde Dame am Empfang(leider nicht nach dem Namen gefragt) hat uns sehr gut betreut und uns den Tag mit netten Gesprächen versüßt!Frühstück völlig in Ordnung, nicht besonders groß, aber alles was man benötigt ist da.Um die Ecke Gustavs Gleis, wo man sehr gut was trinken kann bei dem super Wetter.Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen, wir würden wieder kommen.Danke! ;)Die Mädels
