I've lived in many countries and encountered many immigration or inland office services. The Amt Fuer Imigration is without a doubt the most efficient, friendly and pragmatic team I've ever dealt with. You have no idea how a simple, pleasant and dignified experience can improve the perception of services, but then there is also the speed at which everything is processed. Please don't change a thing with regards to your service delivery.

Die Mitarbeiter an den Schaltern sollten ein bisschen Lächeln. Ausländern brauchen ein bisschen willkommen Gefühl spüren.

Awful customer support:The woman at the counter did not know whether my country was part of the EU or not. If one works at the migration office, I would at least HOPE she is informed about the list of the EU-countries.To top all her ignorance up , she was very disrespectful and talked to me in a demeaning manner.The organization does not even allow to send documents digitally. We live in the 21st century, honestly, I expected more.I would say to avoid this place at all costs, especially because of the lack of competency, professionality and respect.
