Hotel Gloria

My husband and I can't speak highly enough of Hotel Gloria and Jacky and Bernhard. We were welcomed and made to feel like family as soon as we arrived and this feeling stayed with us the whole time. We were assisted greatly with anything that we needed (we visited from Australia), and the food at the hotel was absolutely delicious (cooked by Bernie himself, who is an incredible chef). The location was so picturesque and very easy to get around to different places via public transport. If you stay here you won't be disappointed and we'll definitely be back. All of the staff were fantastic, but we'd also like to make a special mention to Wotan and Simone for their amazing service, friendliness and interesting chats.

Sehr schlechter Service!!!Zuerst wurde mir anstatt stillem Wasser, Wasser mit Kohlensäure serviert.Dann wurde unser Brot zur Suppe und Salat vergessen, dann wurde mir anstatt Rindfleisch,Schweinefleisch serviert. Ich musste danach eine halbe Stunde auf mein Rindfleisch warten, in der mein Partner sein Menü natürlich längst aufgegessen hat. Als mein Rindfleisch serviert wurde, musste ich noch nach Gabel und Messer fragen, da dies mit dem Schweinefleisch abgeräumt wurde…Eine absolute Frechheit dieses Restaurant, wir werden es nicht weiterempfehlen und kommen auch nie wieder.

Kann ja sein das sie frisches Gemüse verwenden, ist aber nicht so wichtig bei Curry Gerichten, die einzelnen Gemüsesorten schmeckt man mit dem Curry nicht so raus.Sie haben ca. 30% über Mittag weniger geöffnet , so erfolgreich kann ihre neue Speisekarte nicht sein.Für mich kommt es nicht in Frage, möchte gerne Schweizer Küche geniessen, da ich in einem Schweizer Dorf bin.Gehen sie mal nach Saas Fee ins Restaurant/Café Alpenblick oder Schäfer Stube.Gute Schweizer traditionelle innovative Küche , schöne stilvolle Restaurants mit Topblick, super Service.  Preise sind 20-30% niedriger.

We visited hotel Gloria’s restaurant yesterday and it is truly a gem. We ordered steak and the traditional Swiss fondue and it was absolutely mouth watering. The service is extremely pleasant and the view speaks for itself. It is a must to stop or even stay in this gorgeous place.

We really prefer quality, and Hotel Gloria was the best we found. Once there (a couple and one child) we found the room well-equipped and clean (but don't expect super-new or very modern, the style is old-school), the hosts were very pleasant and accommodating, and the food was GREAT (which is not common in Switzerland, sadly). Overall, highly recommended if you want the classic Swiss alps feel"."

One of the best places to stay if you’re looking for a quaint, home style hotel.The rooms are perfect, the view is mind blowing and the staff is super friendly.We plan to return again in the future.

This was an amazing hotel located on a mountain with stunning views. My room was on the top floor and had all the necessities and even a large balcony with a view overlooking lake thun. The restaurant here is also amazing with the standout dish in my opinion being the risotto which had a very unique flavor. Breakfast here was included and there was lots of local items like cheese produced in the same area and even locally sourced and sustainably farmed eggs. Overall this was probably one of the most interesting hotels I stayed at as it had an amazing view and location.
