Unfortunately it was the first place in Switzerland where I couldn’t feel fair treated. We put 50CHF into the machine (I have a photo of a ticket with information “payé 50CHF”) and it did not give us any change. It was Sunday, so I decided to take care about it next week. I texted first the parking authorities in Basel to get back 25CHF change, later the owner of the parking. The response which I obtained was that it is impossible to pay with 50CHF cash but they are willing to give me a free parking cards. Therefore, I am not satisfied as I did not get back 25CHF and I needed to remind the company to reply me, as they did not proceed with my request.

Kasse akzeptiert ausschliesslich Bargeld. 20er Note erst ab 12 CHF, 50er Note noch höhere Akzeptanzschwelle. Kleingeld rutscht oft durch. Einfahrt nicht ungefährlich, da von rechts kommende 2.Spur erst sehr spät erkennbar.

Das Gundeli Parkhaus hat nicht einmal einen Stern verdient.. Da man an einem Samstagabend nach Mitternacht scheinbar nicht mehr raus fahren kann (was auch total bescheuert ist), wollte ich sicherheitshalber kurz nach 22:30 mein Auto umparkieren. Die normalen" Ein -und Ausgänge waren bereits geschlossen. So konnte ich nur durch die Parking-Einfahrt zum Auto gelangen. Für ein Basler Parkhaus (vorallem am Wochenende) absolut unterste Schublade.."

Most covered parkings allow 10 or somtimes 15 minutes free !!Nope, here i parked for just 4 minuted to drop my daughter off to the staircase, and was yet charged.

Immer dreckig

Die Öffnungszeiten, die sind nicht Zeitgemäss! Sammstag Abend 24h zu geht gar nicht. Ein Parkhaus muss 24h offen haben!! Ich musste ein Fest fluchtartig verlassen als mir jemand sagte es schliesst um 24h. Was hätte ich gemacht um diese Zeit, wenn es nicht gereicht hätte? UNMÖGLICH!!!

Ein Parkhaus wie man es sich vorstellt - ok. Bezahlung aber nur mit Bargeld möglich!

couldn’t pay for the ticket because the machine wouldn’t accept the ticket. the ticket itself was fine. had to call the emergency phone number and they had someone come and help, but the employee was just as clueless as i was. he got the money for the ticket and managed to open the gate (but really, i’m surprised he managed that). at least he was there quick, but that’s it. i heard this issue happens there occasionally. do not recommend.
