We did the chocolate, wine, and cheese tour with Luis. We had a wonderful time. Luis was very informative, and attentive. We not only enjoyed the cheese, wine, and chocolates, we also learned a lot about the history of Lucerne. It was an afternoon well spent!

We had a great afternoon walking through the town. Guide was very knowledgeable. Would recommend.

We did a tour with Luis on December 11th and absolutely loved it! He did a wonderful job answering questions, keeping the conversation moving, and providing suggestions that fit our interests. I would highly recommend him if you are in Lucerne!

Email response is slow to nonexistent, and inquiries were repeatedly ignored, so I couldn't book at all. I tried booking an early October 2022 tour directly through their website in August 2022 by filling out the contact form and emailing, and did not receive a response for over a week. So I then booked through a 3rd party reservation site and received a response from the owner asking that I cancel my reservation on the 3rd party site and contact the owner directly as my travel date got closer. I immediately responded back (within an hour) asking when I should email again, and another nine days passed without a response until he finally responded saying that he was fully booked that week and couldn't schedule my request. I again immediately responded (also within the hour) and offered an alternate date, and again, no response. The rave reviews from people who were able to arrange a tour with Passenger Diaries may be justified, but I couldn't even get any kind of meaningful communication started to book a tour.

Luís was a wonderful tour guide during our walking tour of Luceren! We were tired from travelling into town and he kept our energy up and made us feel at home right away in this beautiful city. Highly recommend!
