Restaurant Stafelalp
I skied past this place more than 100 times over the years but today was the first time I ventured within. I will never ski past it again! Today was hiking by and it started raining, so I went in for a coffee and a snack Great food, ambiance, music, vibe, and service! And the place is super clean and modern after a recent renovation.

Restaurant Stafelalp
Easily the best restaurant we found in the mountains this year. It was deservedly busy at lunch, as the food and hospitality is superb. Even though we eventually had to wait almost an hour for food, it didn't feel like it, and they kept coming out to apologise and update us on time. Have to go home tomorrow, but I would have eaten here every day if I'd found it sooner!

We stopped for a quick breakfast during our hiking tour in summer. The service and food were very good, although somewhat expensive (5chf for a cup of black coffee). Nevertheless the place has a beautiful interior and exterior areas with stunning Matterhorn views, is very clean and has a great wine and food selection. Will definitely come back in winter for apres ski!

Summer (by foot) or winter (by ski) you can enjoy a magnificent view of the Matterhorn while enjoying cocktails and great food.

Our family has just enjoyed a wonderful lunch at the newly reopened Restaurant Stafelalp. Super friendly and efficient service, top quality food, sensational views of the Matterhorn and warm ambience. Can highly recommend the potato truffle soup and for dessert the winter fruit crumble with cinnamon ice cream (best I’ve ever had, and I’ve had a lot!). Late lunch here is the perfect way to finish a day skiing on the Matterhorn Glacier Paradise before an easy ski back to town.

Super Lage mit wunderschönem Blick auf das Matterhorn. Im Sommer auf alle Fälle einen Stopp beim wandern, oder biken wert. Winter kann ich nicht beurteilen, sieht aber bestimmt fantastisch aus.

Lovely restaurant that offers the best views of the matterhorn. Food was delicious and the service very good. It's totally worth the hike to get there
