Chalet La Luge
Loved this place and owners very helpful!Everything was thought out to the last detail in this very beautiful chalet.We didn't miss anything. Whirlpool and jakuzi are so easy to use...and we did use them and enjoy a lot.The breakfast is great and the owners prepare it with lots of care and attendance. They were very hospitable and kind yet professional. We also had some difficulty with our car and they helped us even with this.The rooms are great, the decoration not too much combining traditional and modern. The ambience and the view are stunning.We are thinking to go there next year already from now!

Accueil déplorable des propriétaires à notre arrivée. Il n'ont pas pris le temps de nous accueillir dans de bonnes conditions car ils étaient pressés et fatigués. Par la suite, des efforts ont été fait de leurs côté.Chalet éloigné de la route, sans 4*4, en hiver, assez difficile d'accès. Aucune aide des propriétaires.Bref, principalement à cause de l'accueil du premier jour, on ne s'y est pas senti comme chez nous.Grosse déception.

Chalet La Luge
The chalet is amazing, we had a family holiday here which exceeded all our expectations. Mini is very helpful and welcoming, and the views are a sight to behold. It never got boring looking out over the valley when having a meal. The area is great for hiking and some of the more active activities like canyoning or biking. We will certainly be back for another family holiday in a few years time!

Déjà deux séjours de ski réussis en famille dans ce beau chalet cosy où l’accueil est chaleureux et attentionné. Dan et Mini sont aux petits soins de manière discrète et efficace. Tout est bien huilé pour pouvoir lâcher prise, ne pas avoir à penser à l’intendance, être vraiment en vacances et se mettre les pieds sous la table. De la cuisine inventive et délicieuse de Mini au transport en haut des pistes par Dan, l’hospitalité fait partie d’eux. Leur background professionnel l’explique sans doute en partie. Mais surtout ce qui est rare et très appréciable, ils ne renvoient jamais la sensation qu’on ressent parfois d’un accueil blasé et une fatigue de recevoir. Chez eux, on sent une réelle satisfaction à ce que leurs hôtes passent un bon séjour. Jamais deux sans trois dit on en français. Vite le prochain séjour. Peut-être l’été pour découvrir la région autrement.

Do not book this place owners are thieving cons. Do not give your card details for a security as they will charge you stuff After you have left without your consent or a reason to why it this charge has occurred. Charged for using bathrobes even though they didnt mention in the beginning of the holiday and they were just there in a open cuboard!!AVOID!!! At all costs!!!!

Vaig estar al Chalet La Luge durant uns dies i la paraula que ho resumeix tot seria: encantador. Típic xalet alpí de fusta amb un agradable saló amb sofàs i, una cambra superior usada com a habitació de la televisió. Durant alguns dies vaig estar sol i en altres vaig compartir el xalet a mode de bed and breakfast sense major inconvenient. Destacable el jacuzzi amb unes impressionants vistes, o la sauna finlandesa, ideal per abans d'anar a dormir. Les habitacions estan decorades amb bon gust i són confortables. Tot implecablement net, igual que els banys, on trobarem tot el necessari. El xalet està a dalt de l'estació de la Tsoumaz i té unes bones vistes, alhora que potser això és una mica el seu defecte ja que queda lluny de tot arreu i la carretera fins a Sion es fa una mica pesada. Vaig tenir el plaer de poder sopar durant algunes nits al xalet, ja que la mestressa és una excel·lent cuinera a nivell gourmet, però només fa sopar si hi ha un mínim d'hostes.

Staying at Chalet La Luge is a highlight of our year. The hosts, Dan and Mini, keep everything absolutely ship shape, with extraordinary attention to the needs of their guests. The nightly dinners are truly extraordinary, with genuine care given to allergies and other dietary needs. The ski area is so vast that it takes determined effort to ride every conveyance and ski every run, to say nothing of the limitless off-piste opportunities. At the end of each day, we can count on a fresh-baked treat waiting on the table for tea!Spending a week here may feel like a once-in-a-lifetime experience, but in truth, it's an experience that is well worth repeating. On a scale of 1-5 stars, Chalet La Luge deserves at least eleven. Plus, the price is genuinely accessible if you visit outside of popular holidays and school vacations. We've stayed here three times, and we would change nothing. Thank you, Mini and Dan!

Chalet très confortable, superbe vue, dan et mini sont très accueillants. Accès un peu difficile, prévoir les pneus neiges.

Chalet La Luge
Lovely chalet and great location. For the price you pay you are expected to do a lot yourself. I would have liked more to be done and available. The ski lifts are really close and easy to get to. There is a great little grocery store in the village, it has everything you could possibly want or need from fresh fruit, cheese, meat and a bakery to frozen food and snow chains. Lots of good restaurants and sport shops close by as well. Views are amazing. The chalet has everything you could need with a really good log fire.If you are driving there in the winter make sure you have a 4 wheel drive vehicle and winter tyres. The hill is steep and the track you follow to get to the Chalet is difficult to get down and more difficult to get back up if there is snow and ice on the road. If you only have a 2 wheel drive car there is plenty of parking at the top of the track on the main road. Use this or will will get stuck down the track.
