SIXT Autovermietung Lausanne

This is the second time we rented from Sixt internationally. We were extremely pleased with the online information, the counter service and the fact we could rent with 0 deductible insurance. The choice of our car was great and the service overall was excellent. There were no surprises in hidden fees as we knew exactly what the car would cost ahead of time.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with this rental company. As an international customer, I had high hopes of receiving a seamless and professional service, but my interactions with this company turned out to be nothing short of a nightmare.It became abundantly clear that the staff lacked the appropriate expertise to cater to international customers (My driving license is Canadian). Their understanding of international regulations was shockingly minimal, and they were unable, and unwilling, to proceed with my prepaid reservation. I was fortunate to find another rental company around the block (literally) that didn't have any issue with my paperwork.Also, days before I was trying to change a time in my reservation and I tried to call. I tried for 4 days, waiting on the phone for over one hour each time without a response. Really bad service.

Noch nie so schnell, kompetent und liebenswert bei einer Autovermietung empfangen worden. Der gemietete Van liess keine Wünsche offen. Alles perfekt!

Sehr, sehr - sehr freundliche und hilfsbereite Dame am Schalter. Gerne wieder.

Hier wird mit der Lupe nach kleinsten Gebrauchsspuren am Fahrzeug geguckt.Nur Stress und Ärger. Leider sehr unprofessionell und gegenüber Deutschen Touristen unfreundlich. Eine Beschwerde bei Sixt Basel wurde von mir eingeleitet. So sollte es nicht laufen. Sehr schade...

Le véhicule a eu un problème technique sur le chemin du retour. J'ai appelé le service Sixt (une vraie galère) et finalement ils envoient un dépanneur qui me demandera de le suivre à Morges pour y déposer le véhicule, le problème ne pouvant pas être résolu sur place.Résultat : j'ai perdu 3h et Sixt me facture les kilomètres en plus effectués par le véhicule pour le détour à Morges et retour à Lausanne. J'attends une réponse de leur part depuis 10 jours, je ne suis pas d'accord de payer ces kilomètres qu'ils m'ont déjà débité automatiquement de ma carte.D'après le dépanneur, ça arrive souvent chez Sixt que de véhicules tombent en panne, donc il vaut mieux éviter cette compagnie pour éviter les ennuis.

Prenez en photo chaque millimètre du véhicule de location, pneus compris. Ils prétendent qu'il y a une rayure imaginaire et facturent lourdement. Puis envoient la facture 6 mois après le dommage (en espérant que vous n'aurez plus les photos?).J'espère que vous avez une bonne protection juridique avant de louer chez eux.Et refusez le plein prépayé : c'est aussi une source de frais inutiles.Malheureusement, je m'aperçois en lisant les commentaires ci-dessous que l'arnaque est bien rodée !Edit: Sixt continue le harcèlement par téléphone 6 mois après les faits !

Loved the customer service - the agent was professional and kind. The car provided was completely new and a model I never drove before. It was nice I got to test it and loved all the new electronic functionality. Found a down side though of having a hybrid car. Consumes more on both fuel and electric hence better invest on either one if one is looking for a cost effective car. Overall very good experience at Sixt!

I rented few time in Sixt, but this time was a mass… the guy on the counter telling me that he doesn’t accept the resident card of Switzerland because it’s not a government document… the email sending by Sixt is mentioning that you need to bring a “government-issued document such as passport” it’s not telling ONLY passport, however the resident card is also a government-issued document so I could not rent the car because resident card is NOT a government-issued document and I’m wondering who issues this document?? Anyway I had very bad experience last time with Sixt in Lausanne therefore I’m gonna give only ONE star.Someone needs to make understood the staff about the rules…

Tolle Angebote und gute Autos, wir waren begeistert. In Lausaunn und in der Schweiz besser mit dem Auto zu sein
