Montessori Between Us, has been my best discovery since moving to Switzerland a year ago! I had my child in a Kita near my office when I first moved (for my convenience) but then I saw each morning and evening how unhappy he was - extending to tantrums at home. He was really, really unhappy. I moved to Switzerland alone with my toddler for a demanding new job and my husband was in another country for work- so needless to say our family needed a lot of support! And with this transition, our toddler, sadly was feeling it the most! I found MBU from a google search…which as you can imagine can be tricky and nerve wracking. And wow! I am so happy with our decision to enroll our child at MBU. The school has fully supported my family! They not only take great care of my child, but they truly care about your entire family. And the community they have is so wonderful - even other parents at the school have offered to help if I’ve been sick or had an overnight work trip and needed support. But beyond all of this- I see my child learning 3 languages (a 4th in our home with his father) and doing just wonderful. He’s also thriving with learning pre-kindergarten activities like mastering colors, numbers, the alphabet, and other educational concepts to set him up for life. One day I came in and they were working on physics. Flying airplanes around the earth and moon and learning about gravity. But beyond that, I see a kindness in his heart and a respect for others that has just impressed me so much. MBU really has had a huge influence in this! I don’t see the terrible twos anymore but instead I see a child who has a curious (and clever) interest in learning the world around him. Finally, I want to share the school takes the children outside everyday! And not just to the same park. But the children are exposed to trips on trains, museums, parks, the forest - even yoga classes! Sometimes I giggle when I see my little one before bed practicing his yoga poses or saying his teachers name. Wow, Ahlem and her team of gifted and dedicated teachers have changed my family and given my child gifts beyond my imagination. I cannot praise them enough or encourage you to expose your family to MBU!P.s. working parents know - smaller class sizes tend to mean your child is sick less! And at MBU, the classes are small, the school is clean the kids are rarely sick! Mine included!

I come here once a week with my 1.5 yo daughter and we both love it! we both learn! I have learnt how to present educational games in a way that results comprehensive and motivational so that she keeps the concentration. I have seen such a big progress in my daughters behaviour regarding patience, concentration and relationship with objects in only few weeks!Alhem is wonderful and gives me a lot of tips. Also the space is beautiful, calm and inspiring and all the details are considered.plus, the program is super flexible re. schedule!! (mama's dream!!!)I totally recommend it!!!

Greetings! My feedback is based on my experience as an employee.The founder, who has an immaculate depth of knowledge and an exceptional eye for detail, is an outstanding teacher. She is a specialist not only in the Montessori concept but in a wide variety of other areas as well. I have found the other teachers I have worked with to be friendly, helpful, and professional. In this manner, the environment is responsive to the needs of the child, resulting in the child being able to realize their full potential.Despite my many years of experience in the child care field, MontessoriBetweenUs provides parents with innovative solutions that I have never before seen in the industry. It is not only the children who learn here, but also the adults.My favourite aspect of the school has to be the multicultural environment in which everyone gains knowledge from one another and shares mutual respect. Here, we learn for life.In spite of the fact that the work here is extremely challenging and demanding, the results are very satisfying and insightful. Effortful work is successful in the end. It is gratifying to see that our work has an impact on the children and I am able to see them blossom as a result!MBU is a truly inspiring environment for big and small. Thank you for having me!

The centre has a domestic atmosphere and very attentive pedagogues. It is equipped with the best Montessori materials as well as books and equipment for practical life activities.I can definitely recommend it!Olga F.

This place does not have an operating permit from Stadt Zürich.We have had a horrible experience with the woman who runs this establishment, it is worth mentioning that we have not been an isolated case, as several families and also staff who have worked there have been victims of this person.Her threats, mistreatment and intimidation deserve special attention, but it is the children who are ultimately exposed with this lady.That is why I advise you to be well informed before becoming a victim of this person.

Abgesehen von den herzlichen Lehrerinnen mit Montessori Hintergrund, von denen wir jedes Mal so viel lernen dürfen, ist die Flexibilität hier unvergleichlich: es gibt keine Mindestanzahl Tage die wir kommen müssen, und während der Schulferien, wenn sonst alle Programme pausieren, haben sie offen!

My baby and I've had such a great time at MBU that I don't even know how to reflect it in this review. It deserves at least 10 stars, not 5 :)I discovered MBU 9 mth ago. My baby was only 3 mth at the time but even then she absorbed and learned and felt so cosy there. And I got valuable knowledge on how to play with her and what are her needs at each stage of development, when I need to say no" and when it's my responsibility as a parent to adjust the environment and so much more.Ahlem and her team turn caring for kids into an art

Unvergleichbar mit allem was ich bisher gesehen habe. So unglaublich herzlich, inspirierend, flexibel, hilfreich und schön. Die Inputs von den Leiterinnen sind überaus wertvoll und super in der Praxis anwendbar. Meine Tochter und ich fühlten uns vom ersten bis zum letzten Moment in diesen Räumlichkeiten Zuhause. Ich kann es wirklich JEDEM empfehlen. Toll, dass wir so einen Lern-und Begegnungsraum" in Zürich haben."
