Didn't make it all the way to the fort, instead took a quick detour from our road trip to get pictures of the valley, river and mountains. Amazing spot. Just a note; remurging in traffic may be challenging for a few.

Panoramica camminata lungo il Stockalper Weg. Si inconteano le profonde gole di Gondo e il Fortino di Gondo. Molto bello.

Fort Gondo je údolní pevnost u horské říčky , poblíže SH Švýcarska s italským městečkem Gondo.Nachází se v údolí pod Simplonskym průsmykem. Ve skalnatém terénu nad řekou se nachází několik dalších horských pevností s původními kanóny.Dostanete se sem buď autem, anebo pěšky nadhernou turistickou cestou ze Simplon Pass.V italském Gondo vychází známý železniční tunel vedoucí ze švýcarského údolí řeky Rhony u města Brig
