We did Lake Thun only as our time was limited and it was a rainy day. The boat had a good menu for snacks or lunch. Prices were similar to nearby restaurants and hotels for food, not overpriced. Wonderful views and smooth sailing.

I absolutely love the Lake Thun cruise. The ship departed from the Interlaken West (See), which was just a minute walk from the Interlaken train station. We took the cruise that departed at 12:10 towards Thun & it left right on time. The price was included within our Swiss Travel Pass. We had 1st class, which the seats were upstairs and it's totally worth it. Upstairs had plenty of space & it's a paradise compared to the overcrowded downstairs.The sceneries were picturesque. Because upstairs was so empty, therefore we had the privilege to sit around and kept relocating to the best seats along the deck to enjoy the views of those breathtaking mountains & turquoise water for over 2 hours!The cruise at Lake Thun was definitely the best Lake cruise we ever had & for many years to come. It was one of the best highlights we had on our Switzerland trip. Highly recommended!

The paddlewheel boat cruise on Lake Thun, between Interlaken and Thun, was one of the highlights of our 8 days in Switzerland.The boat dock is adjacent to the Interlaken WEST train station. We took the train to Interlaken Ost, walked 15 minutes through town, and stopped for some Gelato at the stand near the boat.The views are outstanding! The engine is visible and amazing to watch. No reservations are needed, and the cruise was included in our Berner Oberland Pass.

We had a wonderful boat trip on Lake Brienz, utilising the Interrail pass which included certain BLS Lake Cruises.The weather was fantastic, and we sailed from Brienz down to Interlaken, taking in the beautiful scenery. The boat was very comfortable, and there was also a café bar on board. We treated ourselves to a glass of wine during the sail, and it was pretty reasonably priced considering the location.I would highly recommend that you add a BLS Lake Cruise to your travel itinerary, as it's a wonderful way to see Lake Brienz.
