Be warned about using this company!The likelihood is you'll float down this lovely river without any trouble and have a splendid time.However, on the off-chance it doesn't quite go as you expected like it did for us then you'll be greeted with a rather shocking customer experience.The owner of this business will in no way take any responsibility or duty of care of his customers. The way we have been treated as paying customers, as visitors of Switzerland, is disgraceful.The owner comes across as defensive and petty and will not hesitate to belittle you if you have a complaint.Before entering the river I'd check the current to make sure it is something you are comfortable with and by all means do not use the tubes. You will find it near on impossible to control your direction and could easily get yourself into trouble.We were told to simply 'just use your arms' to control where we are going. This is an impossibility against the strong current and a paddle and a boat is certainly necessary. Do not use the tubes, you'll be the only ones on the river using them and for good reason.If you do feel unsafe do not expect any refund, sincere apology or help. You will be blamed and be spoken to in the most patronising manner.Look through previous reviews and you'll see this company is not shy in arguing back. They take NO responsibility for ANYTHING. If you, without fault, somehow damage or lose the equipment you will be charged an unjustifiable amount, so bear that in mind.Despite the owners' behaviour everyone else was perfectly pleasant, however be cautious before proceeding.

We had a great day, everthing was fine. nice clean boats , friendly person at the rental station, beautiful river really worth to go , the water is so clean , was a bit cold to go swimming , we try to come back when its warmer

Super organisiert, sowohl Abholung wie Abgabe. Und auf der türkisblauen Aare ist es immer ein tolles Erlebnis. Nur zu empfehlen!

Die schwere Boote müssen für eine lange Strecke getragen werden. Die wasserdichten Taschen die uns gegeben wurden, waren nicht wasserdicht... Wir haben auch Schäden an den persönlichen Sachen, die mit dem Auto bis zum Treffpunkt transportiert wurden! Finger weg von dieser Firma

Had an absolute blast on the river. You will have to carry your boats down the road to the river for awhile but they are light and easy. Just be prepared for this.

Going down the Aare is such a wonderful experience.Renting here was really great - gear in the good condition, friendly folks and complete service.They have solo kayaks which is the most fun way to do the river :)Make sure to catch the waves in the very beginning!

Fantastic must do experience. This company is excellent, the boat was excellent, especially liked that they had life jackets which fitted small children rather than one size fits all.Great instructions but mostly just sit back and enjoy the ride. We had lunch on the river, then spent the afternoon sightseeing in Bern before taking the train back.

Great service and a fantastic experience. They walked us through the whole process of the trip down the river, and provided a great boat and equipment for our trip. I can’t wait to go again.

Fun activity and great experience. The staff is friendly and helpful. Material rented of high quality. You can leave your belongings with the staff at the departure point and they will bring it to you at the arrival point, where you also drop your inflatable boat. I really recommend this 3-4h experience on the river, especially on a hot and sunny day.
