Freundliche Bewirtung, schöne Umgebung. Für Übernachtungen müsste die Hütte besser gegen Feuchtigkeit geschützt werden, um es so auszudrücken. Saubere Dusche vorhanden.

Adesso (in primavera) troverete una freschezza ed un paesaggio verde brillante, stupendo!Noi siamo salite da Roveredo-Capriasca ler l’aperitivo e devo dire che ci è piaciuto molto.

Capanna La Ginestra
Stayed here for one night on a hike. This is a nice, simple cabin - nothing fancy, but all the basics you need. Booked half pension, breakfast was simple but the dinner was exceeding my expectations by far : perfectly cooked pasta with wonderful homemade wild garlic pesto (plus salad and cake! Even a bottle of wine). Felt very welcome. Pricing was very reasonable, less than 70 CHF for the night with dinner and breakfast.The mattress was a bit hard for me, but it was OK. There is also a shower available for a few bucks.

Capanna La Ginestra
I was in Capanna la Ginestra for a week partly together with a friend. It is a beautiful location, great view over Lugano. Fantastic walks all around. And the hosts are very kind and make it a great place. The accomodation is modest with bunkbeds. And the kitchen and recreationroom are also basic, like you expect from an 'amici della natura' house. What is special here is that they offer half pension for 60 francs, we got a good breakfast and dinner every day. We had a lot of space. A hot shower costs 4 francs and you need two 2frank pieces for that. Washing with cold water is possible too. There are two ways to get to the capanna la Ginestra that are very different in how difficult they are. From Lugano you can take the bus to Tesserete station. From there you take the bus to Roveredo Paese for the pleasant walk that takes about an hour. It is sometimes challenging because it is of course uphill. From Tesserete you can also take the bus to Lelgio Paese, that is a shorter and challenging route, mainly uphill. And the path is not always a path. Both ways are marked quite well with signs of 'amici dellla natura' or capanna Ginestra. The Lelgio way is also marked as the scenic trail, people actually run this challenging route. Giornata stupenda! Gestori capanna molto simpatici e competenti. Eravamo in 6 persone, abbiamo mangiato bene, tutto alla griglia e torte fatte in casa squisite. Un buon Merlot e un buon caffè-grappa. Qualità-prezzo più che onesti.Grazie, ritorneremo!

Amazing place, very welcoming caretaker! Spent 2 nighrs with friends in April, the hut is equiped with really nice kitchen, gas and wooden stoves, beds and indoor slippers. There's also a payed shower, some board games., ping pong table outside. It's easily accessible from Lelgio after 30 min hike, there's plenty of hikes in the area. Very authentic hut and well maintained. =)

Schöne Lage, abgelegen, ruhig und mit Philipp ein toller Gastgeber...wir fühlten uns willkommen und umsorgt...er hat für uns die frisch gesammelten Steinpilze als Risotto zum z'Nacht serviert, das Frühstück stand am morgen bereit und der Kuchen welcher am Abend zuviel war, lag schön verpackt nebenan....wir kommen gerne wieder...Gruss Roman & Christof
