Open-air space in an old industrial area with containers. There are several food truck-like stands for food and drinks, many many options and outdoor seats and shared tables, both ground level and upstairs. Decoration was very nice, especially with the lights at night. Service was terribly slow, we had to wait more than 1 h for our food to be ready, and only after complaining a couple of times, although at least they gave the money back for the trouble. Food was ok, not the best I have had and scarce in quantity. Overall a good experience, especially at night, but be aware, it's usually super crowded and it's hard to find a spot if you come with a large party.

We were there as part of a team event and had a reservation accordingly. The concept is quite interesting, where people of different ages and occasions meet in a central location. It is very often extremely crowded, so I would recommend making a reservation if you are several people. They make it easy by letting the guests order and get their own food and drinks at the counter, which is clear by the fact that it is a huge place and therefore impossible to serve the guests at the table. Considering the number of guests, the waiting time is quite long. The food was honestly just okay. The staff was always friendly, although you could feel a bit of stress among them, again due to the large number of guests. I would come back for a drink, whether on a lazy sunny afternoon or after work, under the great lighting that creates a cozy atmosphere.

Die Atmosphäre an den schönen Tagen ist wirklich super. Mit der Beleuchtung am Abend gibt es eine tolle Stimmung. Als Treffpunkt mit Freunden und Familie um etwas zu trinken ist es passend. Jedoch sind wir etwas enttäuscht von dem Essen - das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis stimmt nicht. Sehr kleine Portionen, trockener Rinds-Cevapcici und der Kartoffelsalat zu sauer und mit Kartoffeln, die noch nicht zu 100% durch waren. Die Kalbsbratwurst schmeckte gut. Zudem ein Lob an das Abräumpersonal.

Super live and bright atmosphere, more of a marketplace than a restaurant though it is one primary food place, and lots of drink vendors.Menu changes often, we had bbq this time and it was quite good but perhaps a tad too much oil. Portion size was generous.

Super pretty garden with a really nice bar and shops inside. Lots of seating inside with some nice shaded spots. The garden looks great and is nice to be surrounded by it. The bar here is really good also with a nice selection of drinks. We didn't have any of the food but there was a good menu there. Lovely little spot to visit, a must if you are in the area.

Wunderschöne grüne Oase inmitten der Stadt Zürich. Der Gerolds Garten ist ein Selbstbedienungsrestaurant. Empfiehlt sich hauptsächlich für Drinks, da das Essen eher durchschnittlich schmeckt und die Stadt Zürich definitiv bessere Restaurants zu bieten hat. Zudem ist das Personal teilweise extrem unfreundlich. Entweder hat man Glück oder Pech mit den Mitarbeiter*innen.

Wunderschönes Ambiente, leckeres Essen, der Quinoa Salat war vegan und glutenfrei. Die Preise sind nur etwas teuer - wie überall in Zürich wahrscheinlich. Wem das nichts ausmacht ist hier gut aufgehoben!

Very nice place, and good concept.We visited it on Easter Monday, few days after the summer season opening. Although there was not much of variety of foods, we enjoyed on the place and good atmosphere.
