Our daughter ( from when she was one year old up to 16 month) went to this Kita from Sep 2022 till mid Feb 2023 from 9 to 11.15 in the mornings. During the first month our daughter got a pretty bad rash in the nappy areas due to usage of soap and lack of drying her after change. in the next two month she had fallen two times from back, bumping her head to the ground from back and got a swollen head. The accident happened due to the fact that the furniture used in the Kita are not suited for babies and are designed for older kids. She wanted to climb over the chairs and fell backward as she could not reach the chairs properly. After the first time the accident happened we had an extensive discussion with the Kita manager, and we recommended putting a safe baby carpet under the chairs so that in case a future accident happens, it will not have a high impact on her health. The Kita manager refused to let us buy or pay for the carpet and put a old normal carpet there that makes it even more slippery. After the second accident we took our daughter out of Kita, and the Kita, demanded a two month payment even though she would not go to Kita. Their reasoning was, this accident was not severe enough to cancel the contract immediately. I had many conversations with the Kita managers and from their point of view this sort of accident happens and it is ok that the baby bumps her head, and they will just learn from this.During the time our daughter went to Kita she also started biting herself out of frustration and anger, she became very nervous in general. Once when I went to pick her up I saw her alone in a corner biting herself and no teacher paid any attention to her.On multiple occasions when I picked her up I also saw her being alone out of adult supervision.The food they serve to kids is also not the healthiest option from having sausages ( which is a choke hazard for kids) to chicken nuggets.overall the Kita needs renovation, and updates in toys and books. Everything there is old and toys are out of batteries or broken.
