Ich bin mit UBS gar nicht zufrieden,ich will kündigen,es gibs so viele Fehler über E-banking zu zahlen.Ich kann gar nicht in E-Banking einloggen.

My husband is EU and had no issues opening an account from UBS. No appointment needed, he just walked in and they opened an account for him.I am Canadian and when I tried to open an account (at Marktplaz), they told me that I needed to make an appointment. I made an appointment online, only to receive an email a few days later telling me the time I chose was unavailable and that I need to make another appointment. I made another appointment, only to receive the same email again a few days later. Wasted a good 2 weeks of my time.At this point, I was getting frustrated and my husband and I decided to go into a branch together (Bankverin). They opened an account for me right away and even a joint account for us.I don't know what is going on with their internal systems, but I've honestly never had this much difficulty trying to become a customer of a bank.

This bank basically makes it impossible for expats to open an account. Even if you're a EU citizen, you need the confirmation of your permit application (which by the way will take 3 weeks to get after you apply). In the meantime, where is my salary supposed to go?? Even with my rental agreement and employment contract they couldn't open an account for me. Also not on my foreign (EU) address. Expats be warned. Go to PostFinance if you need an account.Very disappointing.
