Swung by this place to rent skis for my wife and a snowboard for myself. It was recommended by our hotel Matthiol. Once we got there we were greeted by a madhouse of people, but still the employees were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful to get us what we need!! I was helped by Mika who was understanding to my ignorance of EU shoe size and helped me get a fantastic pair of boots and a slick snowboard. I would recommended this store every time!

Michi, Tim and Alain = the dream team. The best advices, the best boot fitters, and the guys are super nice. I love to stop by there!

I can't remember the name of the man who served us but he was extremely knowledgable, professional, and polite. In the end we bought a YES Hello snowboard which has been great, I would absolutely recommend for snowboarders.

We rented skis there staying at The Omnia hotel. They fit us and then dropped the skis and helmets off at our hotel. When we were done skiing they picked up the skis from the locker at the Omnia. It was a great service and well priced. They have a really good selection of skis and the helmets were really comfortable and new. Highly recommended.

The airline had lost our ski bag, so we showed up at Julen needing more equipment than we had originally reserved. The staff was incredibly helpful and fast in getting us everything we needed first thing in the morning on Day 1 so we could hit the slopes. Would highly recommend getting your gear at Julen!

My wife had some issues with her boots that were fitted elsewhere a few years ago. Tim immediately took us in without an appointment and the boots were ready the next morning and they did not even charge us for the fix. Not even for another mod we had done the next day. The boots fit perfectly afterwards. I cannot say enough good things about Tim and Julen. Great customer service and expertise. Great business overall! Thank you.

I bought some snowboard bindings. Had that same day incident that broke the back. I got some replacement bindings for 2 days. End got a new part under warranty. So super service end friendly en helping you when you have a problem.

I bought a pair of snowboard boots and the experience was amazing. Micah (hope I’m spelling it correctly) took the time to let me try different models, offered lots of suggestions, and waited patiently while I decided. Definitely would recommend!

Ich konnte hier verschiedene Snowboards testen. Ein grosses Kompliment für die fachlich sehr gute Beratung! Ich konnte mein neues Brett nun testen und die Jungs haben nicht zu viel versprochen, es sind nochmals Welten gegenüber der Testboards! Wenn ich wieder nach Zermatt reise, wird dies meine Adresse betreffend Snowboards sein, macht weiter so!Ich bin absolut begeistert!

1 star is even overrated for this place.I was there with my cousin today around 16:30 hrs. Terrible service I’ve ever experienced throughout my living in CH for 12 years! The staffs at ski/snowboard rental service were unacceptable in any sevice levels!My cousin wanted to rent a complete snowboard set incl. board, boots, jacket, pants, and helmet. Stupid us enough, we only went into the first shop we found while walking through the city. When my coins in tried on the jacket and pants, we found the pants were too big. I said to one of the guys (the one with long hairs) “I think they are too big. Do you have a smaller size, sir?” He looked at me and nodded but then said “complicated huh?” Wow…just Wow! Are you seriously consider that was complicating? Apart from the pants, we were okay with all other equipments they offered at first i.e. the board, boots, binders, and jacket. Not even once we had asked for a change except the first and only pants that were really too big! I guess if he really thinks that was already complicating, he should consider finding another job unless he couldn’t as with his attitude and manners, it would have been difficult to work anywhere anyway.Then I turned to the other guy and said “so your colleague said we were complicated? Was that really complicating in your opinion?” He said “No. But I’m not him why are you angry at me?” I said “I’m not angry at you but seriously, do you really think that we should pay for this kind of service?”Even though the manager came to apologize, he insisted that we were just unlucky cause HIS STAFF had a bad day and HIS STAFF has been there with him for 20 years and never had one single complaint! Seriously? So it was our fault to visit your shop while your staffs were not in the mood to do their jobs? What an apology-ridiculous. I suggest the owner/manager should consider to put up a camera at the area so he would see it with his OWN EYES how the customers are treated. Instead of keep biting people who left the bad reviews here. And maybe he would realize that was not the only complaint he had in his 35 years in this business. Or maybe consider putting up a sign at the door indicating how good or bad mood of your staff at the moment so customers know when to not visit your shop.At the end, we went to Intersport Glacier Ski & Hike which is just one block away. The staff there was way better than Julen Sport. They were very professional and helpful. So my advice is try to AVOID this shop at all occasions!
