There are some positive things among the negative ones. I will start with the positive. The location is good, the studio is nice, and in the end the lady turned out to be nice and friendly.However, when I first came in, she was talking on the phone for maybe good 20 min, then once she was done there was zero offers of tea, coffee, or even water as there was 30+ degrees (Celsius) outside. I had an appointment for a pedicure with Shellac and was the most disappointed with the result! The lady was complaining about how these more mainstream nail salons in the city centre that are run 'like factories' are not doing their job well and etc. and the girls then come to her to 'save their nails'. But in my experience now, they are doing a much much better job than this lady! She did not even file my nails! Literally how I came in, she did not do anything to prepare the nails or cuticles, but put the gel polish straight away on top. And the quality of how she painted it is not even that good - there are streaks and uneven lines (it's French tips). And of course charged the full price... Definitely do not recommend! To get a proper pedicure she'd probably ask to pay double and this was already expensive, especially for the bare minimum she did (or didn't do). For this price I'd rather go to those salons, that she called 'factories', and get my nails properly tidied up. That's the whole reason we go to salons - so someone fixes our cuticles, nails, shortens them, files and evens them up, but all she did was put some paint on. I could've done that myself and for zero expenses. Waste of time and money, and now I still have to get the pedicure done. Nonsense!
