Service très attentionné malheureusement, les prix des mets ne sont ni justifiés ni justifiables (même pour les standards genevois).Une boule de mozzarella di Buffala avec 3 dés de légumes grillés ne valent pas 28 frs et ce, peu importe le goût. La même remarque s'applique au tiramisu proposé à 16 frs et qui n'était par ailleurs que médiocre.Je ne vois aucun inconvénient à payer les sommes justes lorsque le plat contient des produits fins tels que des fruits de mer, des truffes ou encore des bolets mais sans création particulière et sans ingrédients coûteux, les établissements devraient réaliser que des prix aussi élevés laissent un goût amer à leurs clients.

The gnocchi and tiramisu were out of this world. Basic, hearty Italian food executed flawlessly with incredible ingredients.

INCREDIBLE! If you are in the area, you have to go here. Not only was the food incredible, the service was as well! They were helpful in selecting a great wine, best appetizer and helped narrow down which main course I wanted… because I wanted all of them!This is on my list as one of my top 10 favorite places to eat now. Thank you la Finestra for an amazing meal. I will be back!

I was walking by La Finestra when an unfortunate incident occurred with one of their servers. My dog had left a small smudge on the street, which I had tried to clean up as best as I could. However, the server ran out and yelled at me, insisting that I clean it up properly and stating that my dog was not trained properly.I was taken aback by the server's reaction, which was confrontational and accusatory. I understand the importance of maintaining cleanliness in public spaces and taking responsibility for my pet's behavior. However, the server's response was excessive and unwarranted.It would have been much more appropriate if the server had approached me calmly and suggested a solution to the situation, rather than yelling and making baseless accusations. I ended up proposing using a water bucket to clean up the smudge, but I don't believe that was my responsibility as a passerby.As a customer, I expect to be treated with respect and courtesy by the staff at any restaurant. However, even as a non-customer walking by, I expect to be treated with a basic level of human decency. The server's behavior was completely unacceptable and I hope that La Finestra takes steps to ensure that their staff is trained to handle situations like this with more professionalism and tact in the future.

Overall good experience in a professional setting. Was quiet and service was very good.Starters were amazing, main dish tastyWas there on a very warm day, air con available indoor. However the waiters were wearing the usual uniform, could really feel for them - must have been hard for them

It is a small restaurant in old town Geneva. It has a warm classical atmosphere. The waitress are professional. The linguini cooked with lobster sauce was perfect. The lamb dish has a little sider with it. My friend ordered it because there was polenta served with it. But it was very small. The obsuccco dish was very fulfilling. The meat was tender enough. We ordered a rose. It was perfect. It was served at a very good temparature. Digestives at the end of the meal was from the house. As a desert if you like desert made from fruits, the pear with ice-cream was delicious. Paid 410 chf for four persons, with wine, dessert, main dish for each and a small salad as an entrée.

Well located in the center of Geneva.We enjoyed the drinks, the food and the wine.Specifically, the scampis were just perfect!Giving 4 ⭐️ because I felt it’s overpriced.

Unfortunately food here was quite disappointing. The dishes are not worth what they cost.…will not be going back.
