easyHotel Zürich City Centre

I would definitely not recommend this Hotel for that price, 100 CHF per night. The room is empty and is not isolated at all. Very small bathroom and the room itself does not have anything to put your clothes. The bed was very uncomfortable, disastrous. We could not sleep that night. In addition there is no opportunity for car parking. Rather pay 20CHF more and get a better Hotel for sure.

Gute Lage in Szenenähe, also viele Restaurants, Bars und Clubs. Das Hotel an sich hat keinen klassischen Check-In, da man über einen Automaten eincheckt. Gepäck kann man in einem Raum bis 20 Uhr abends aufbewahren. Die Zimmer sind nicht die saubersten, aber erfüllen ihren Zweck. Wer ein günstiges Hotel in Zürich sucht, findet hier einen angemessenen Preis. Es ist allerdings sehr hellhörig, da man den Lärm vom Treppenhaus hören kann.

Not good at all. A bed, a toilet and a shower. The toilet and shower are in a step up cubicle and you can feel every single spring in the mattress. Rice paper walls, rust, dust and stained sheets.This place attracts the most inconsiderate people imaginable. Did not sleep at all due to people yelling down their phones and watching TV until the early hours of the morning. The video I've added gives you an idea of how clearly you'll hear your neighbours.The heater does not work, so keep all your clothes on to stay warm in the colder months.Save your money, you'd actually sleep better on the street than you would here.

Check in was contact free and easy enough to use.Rooms are small and basic, but clean and had the main bits needed for our stay.Only fault was there was no hair dryer.The building has no lift inside (wasn't an issue for us)There's microwaves and kettles on floors 1 and 3 that are available for guests to use.

Pros:Location - The hotel is close to the maim train station, many options for food, and walkable to the main areas of interest.Price - Price is reasonable for the overpriced city.Self check-in is simpleCons:Value for price: You get exactly what you pay for in a cheaper hotel. No frills. A very small room barely big enough for a bed and a suitcase. The tiny bathroom is barely big enough for one person to use.Zero staff: the bathroom had several issues that needed to be fixed and with no staff available, you have no one to call. The computers at the front desk only allow check-in and out.Bedding: the single most uncomfortable bed and pillows I’ve ever tried to sleep on. I actually placed my back pack on my bed and used it as a base for the airbag type of pillow provided.

We had no trouble finding this place and I did not expect the hotel to be fully-automatic (except for the people who clean the rooms) which was very surprising to me. The check-in room/lobby/whatever had AC, but the rooms didn't - which was okay since we could just open the windows to let the cool air in as an alternative.The room we were in (especially the bathroom) was small, but it's what you expect. Overall, it's a great hotel if you don't want to spend too much on this expensive city, don't care how big the rooms are, and if you're not an AC person. (Also there's no room service).

The hotel is a solid 3 stars. The room we stayed had window view which we enjoyed. The bathroom is divided by a sliding door. So keep in mind, there's not much privacy. The location was great. Bahnhofstrasse and Altstadt are walking distance. The surrounding neighborhood has many restaurants and a migrolino close by.The room was clean, some TV channels didn't work. The locker service is very useful when arriving early or leaving late.

++ Lage++ Gepäckstation (von 8 bis 20 Uhr zugänglich, auch nach Check-Out)+ Effizienz der An- und Abmeldung+ Sauberes Betto Es gab beim Buchen keinen Hinweis darauf, dass dieses Hotel ohne Rezeption/Menschen sein würde. Es gibt lediglich eine Nummer im Eingangsbereich für Notfälle (die sehr teuer wäre)- Kaffeeautomat im Erdgeschoss hat nicht funktioniert- zu kurze Vorhänge (Licht kommt rein)- relativ hellhörig (besser Ohrstöpsel dabei haben)- Zimmertüren gehen sehr schwer auf/zu. Man muss sich mit viel Gewicht dagegen stemmen.-- Bad: kleine Dusche, Vorhang ist ekelhaft, teilweise stark staubig, keine Lüftung (aber Fenster im Zimmer vorhanden), teilweise hat das Licht nicht funktioniertFazit: für 1-2 Nächte gut auszuhalten, vor allem, wer die gute Lage zum Hauptbahnhof nutzen will. Prinzipiell gibt es hier aber noch einigen Verbesserungsbedarf und mehr Transparenz wird erbeten, wenn es darum geht, dass hier kein Personal vor Ort ansprechbar ist.

easyHotel is a budget option for those visiting Zürich.Last year I was in their unit at Limmatplatz and my stay was smooth and eventless, but this time at City Center it started with the wrong foot... the self check-in system wasn't working and the support phone had a recorded message in... German (!)Thanks to another guest that asked for the help of someone in a bar nearby, we got our keys and could enjoy the stay.
