We stopped to kill a little time while waiting for our train. Waitress was fast but definitely stretched thin with one waitress and one barista.When we sat down we saw a sign in front of the bar that stated they only accept Euros or credit card. When we tried to pay, the waitress would not accept our master card. She either spoke no English or wouldn’t so we pointed to the sign still no luck. I had just enough Euros to cover what the bill said but apparently they don’t like Euros either. Waitress was rude and no help.Moral of the story, go across the street or learn Italian and come with Swiss Francs regardless what their signs say.

We decided to give it a try despite the bad reviews. It was a mistake. The waitress was so rude that we decided to leave. Better visit the Al Porto coffee shop across the street (much much better! and had great service!)

Perfect place to have a great Campari or just short beer break. Staff always make you to feel welcome. Nice snake and really great atmosphere.

Normally a decent place but this time the waitress seemed really annoyed about having to do her job and was so rude that we left and went to the café in front.

In caso di pagamento con carta, al personale di servizio è vietato accettare mance.In tempi di Corona, dove si preferisce pagare con la carta, mi aspetto che un proprietario decente supporti il suo staff anche in questo modo.--Bei Kartenzahlung wird dem Servicepersonal die Annahme von Trinkgeld verboten.In Zeiten von Corona, wo bezahlen mit der Karte bevorzugt wird, erwarte ich von einem anständigen Besitzer, dass er sein Personal auch auf diesem Weg unterstützt.

Nice little caffe located next to the railway station. They offer coffee to normal swiss prices. The sunny terrace is a very comfortable and pleasing way to enjoy the coffe in Locarno. The restrooms were super clean, stuff was friendly, coffe was good, weather was sunny as always in the south.Best way to wait on your train for sure.
