Hotel Pickwick Luzern

Liked · If you want to stay in the old centre of this beautiful city with the atmosphere, the style and everything that goes with it, you are at the best place to be.Disliked · Since I was travelling by motorbike, I needed a parking spot. The space around the hotel is car and motorbike free zone so I had to park across the river. It's not far, 3 minutes walking, but it was not optimal in my case

What am amazing room! We had the room looking over the river with perfect view of Chapel Bridge and a tiny balcony. What a great location! Five minutes from the train station and over a hip British pub. It was great

Das Hotel ist vollkommen in Ordnung. Die reale Bewertung wäre 4,5. Da aber die Zimmer keine Klimaanlage haben und die Betten recht schmal ausfallen, gibt es einen Stern Abzug.Trotz dessen, dass ein Pub unter den Zimmern ist, ist die Lautstärke vollkommen ok. Der Ausblick aus den Zimmern zur Vorderseite ist fantastisch. Ein empfehlenswertes Hotel.

I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel Pickwick in Luzern - the room was efficient, clean, and had a nice little balcony overlooking the river and famous historic bridge. The 24/7 rear entrance was great for access, and staff were very friendly and went out of their way to show me how to gain access using the key. Great location 5 mins from train station. One thing to keep in mind if you book on a weekend, the bar can be a little noisy downstairs until closing.

Incredible location. Rooms are clean and basic. The advertised description is accurate. Great value.

Nettes Hotel in toller Lage über dem Pub. Das Einzelzimmer ist zweckmäßig und sauber, also alles was man braucht. Sehr ruhig, da die Fenster auch gut sind. Der Blick aus dem Zimmer über den Reuss auf die Kapellbrücke und in der Ferne die Alpen mit dem Pilatus ist genial.Ich war da beim Bahnstreik gestrandet und hatte dort kurzfristig und unkompliziert ein Zimmer bekommen, und das auch für einen guten Preis. Sehr nettes Personal.Der Pub darunter ist auch zu empfehlen.

Excellent hotel! Everything from perfect location to super clean rooms and helpful staff was amazing. It was our first day in Switzerland and after traveling for 26 hrs when we checked in we were amazed by the view from our hotel room, the famous Kapellbruke bridge was bang opposite to our balcony. We booked a comfort room with river view for two nights but after one night we decided to extend our stay for 3 more nights cancelling our booking in interlaken. The hotel which has a happening pub on the ground floor and reception on the first floor is just about 5 minutes walk from Luzern railway station, we used to take train almost every day to explore Switzerland and this hotel was like our home in Luzern. Lovely place to stay.
