Boutique Hotel Volkshaus Basel

We stayed at the boutique hotel in Basel on February 4 for one night to go to a concert at St Jakobshalle.From the moment we entered the building until we left, we felt welcomed by the whole crew, slept in a beautiful room and had a delicious breakfast.Even though the noise intervention during the night got handled very professionaly at the checkout.We definitly recommend this hotel to everyone staying in Basel and would love to come back again

What a wonderful hotel. The design, by renowned architects De Meuron and Herzog, is both beautiful and functional. Service, food, ambience were all excellent. Special thanks to Michael at reception who gave excellent recommendations. We could not recommend this hotel highly enough, superb.

Wunderbares Hotel, stylisch und gut gelegen. Das Personal beim Empfang war mehr als freundlich! Das Frühstück ist mit Fr. 25.- pro Person zwar nicht gerade günstig aber bietet alles, was man braucht.

The rooms are very nicely designed and super clean! The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the hotel is only one direct tram ride away from both large train stations in Basel. Would definitely come again and certainly recommend it to others!
