The hotel itself is wonderful, it’s clean, very convenient location, beautiful interiors and delicious restaurant, but the staff is so unfriendly, from the reception to the cleaning team, had several bad experiences with them.

I had an excellent experience at the Longemalle during a three day stay for business. The location is attractive and very convenient, as are the hotel's two restaurants. The hotel is beautiful, well-appointed, very clean and orderly, and quiet. Everything works perfectly. The staff was great and were extremely helpful and efficient when I had to deal with an unexpected illness. Tops !

Front desk was extremely accommodating and allowed us to check early at around 10am . Very much appreciated after a red eye flight!The rooms were clean and well appointed. The bed was especially comfy. Enjoyed the extra touches like complimentary bottles of water, excellent in-room coffee and heated bathroom floors.The location can’t be beat. Close to the train and bus stops and convenient to the many shops and restaurants nearby.Had a wonderful stay at this luxurious hotel and would recommend highly.

Great Hotel & Location!Everything about this hotel is top notch. Best shower of my life, not joking.. the adjustable pressure & temperature from the rain shower was on another level of amazing. Great nights sleep in a wonderful comfy bed too!! Location was superb. Super easy to walk around everything we wanted, go shopping in both the high end & middle tier shops, and be close to great restaurants. The only drawback from receiving 5 stars was the front desk staff. Check in was great, we were able to drop off all our bags and since we were not present (out walking around) when the room came available, they placed our bags in our room for us. However, upon our return to the hotel later that day, we stopped by the front desk to enquire about taking the train to visit Gruyeres. The woman at the front desk handed us a map and marked the train station (15min walk), but was not helpful in explaining much else... we had asked what was the best way to get to where we wanted to go, etc. Overall she was nice of course, I would say that the impression both my husband and I received was just a sort of dismissive, cold shoulder, type of exchange. So we just took the map and went to our room to do research ourselves. A bit disappointing to be sure, especially because I would not classify ourselves as the typical" American travelers who are loud

Room and hotel were great. Breakfast was not included, despite the high cost of the room, plus they charged us 50 CH extra to have our daughter sleep in the bed with us (i.e. no roll away, nothing extra from the hotel). I find this absurd.

Horrible breakfast variety and service. Zero willingness to accommodate simple requests. We made a simple request to make an omelette but they said they could only make fried eggs. What’s the difference? Same pan. They also refused to bring some sliced tomatoes which they had. We asked for some water they said ‘there it is, you can help yourself’. This is far from the service expected from a 5* hotel and the prices they charge!

One of the most beautiful hotels I’ve ever stayed in with the most comfortable bed! The pictures don’t even do it justice. Highly recommend! I never go out of my way to write a review and I’ve stayed in plenty of 5 star hotels but this one is absolutely exquisite! 10 Stars!!!

The location is incredible, its right by the water and within walking distance of all the major transport hubs. The breakfast was a strength, plenty of options both warm and cold. The room was small but enough and the decor was lovely. would definitely stay again!
