Schwanenplatz is the most scenic place in Lucerne on a summers day. Everyday as we come back from one of the many mountains, me and my wife used to just sit by quayside and just admire the lake lucerne and the mountains in the backdrop. Also the swans swimming around are very beautiful. This area is really a nice picnic spot and you can bring your lunch and either have by the quayside or one of the many benches. A lot of places of interests are nearby - the Lion's monument, the Old City shops, the Chapel Bridge, the KKL museum and the Migros right behind Schweizerhof - this particular one is spread over two floors and you can get swiss chocolates at a decent price from here. Ofcourse, a lot of boats also leave from here.

ลงจากรถไฟ ก็เที่ยวได้หลายที่ อยู่ใกล้ๆกัน ไม่จำเป็นต้องขึ้นรถ ตึกรามบ้านช่อง ทาสีมีเรื่องราวเล่าขาน สะพานเก่า มีรูปสมัยก่อนให้ดู สวยงาม จนอยากถ่ายรูปไปหมดทุกที่ไม่มีเบื่อเลย ทะเลสาบน้ำใสสวยมาก ล้อมรอบด้วยภูเขาสูง ข้างบนยังมีธารน้ำแข็ง สะดวกสบาย มีอาหาร เครื่องดื่ม บริการทั้งในร้านอาหารและ ซุปเปอร์มาเก็ต ราคาปกติ ห้องน้ำบริการกระจายไป ไม่ต้องกลัวหาไม่เจอ ล่องเรือใหญ่เที่ยวทะเลสาบ ก็โรแมนติกดีมาก
