Top Chalet in Zermatt... Klein aber FEIN... GERNE WIEDER

5 star rating deserving of stay with Zermatt Holidays. The location was central to the village. The apartment which we had stayed in before was perfect for a family of 3, fully equipped with internet, tv, linens and even small details of the kitchen were covered. Our balcony faced the lady of Europe(Matterhorn) showing off her glory each day.Our host was extremely friendly offering a taxi to the station which was a 7 minute walk down the main street.Highly recommend it yet want to keep our gem in the rough.

Sehr schöne und zentral gelegene Unterkunft. Vermieter sehr nett und zuvorkommend.Zermatt ist einfach eine tolle Destination und wir kommen schon über 20 Jahre nach Zermatt :-) Im Sommer ist eine Wanderung zur Hörnlihütte sehr empfehlenswert

The apartment was nice and most special was the underground pool and spa. Our room also had a private backyard where we could eat and lay out admiring the Matterhorn view. Unfortunately, I cannot give the chalet 5 stars due to the lack of amenities in the apartment. At the price point of almost $1,000 per night there is a reasonable expectation that we would not have to buy our own essentials like toilet paper, paper towels, shampoo, conditioner and bath soap for a short stay. All of these extras would have cost the proprietor about $10 for the 5 nights we were there.Despite the fact that there was no cleaning as part of the price, we were expected to do our own laundry to wash sufficient towels for the stay. How hard would it have been to initially supply 4 more clean towels? Also, we were expected to leave the apartment with clean dishes and no trash. Thank goodness we didn’t have to clean the apartment upon departure! Can’t the cleaning service who comes to clean the apartment ally the end wash the dishes in the dishwasher and take out the trash? Especially after paying $5,000?In addition, I communicated with the proprietor on the phone regarding train travel to Zermatt. He was very helpful but forgot to mention that most people purchase a half price discount card before buying the train tickets that saves them 50% on the fare, when the train fares are in Switzerland are extremely expensive; (double the cost of plane fares, even with the discount). At least he provided transportation for the 2 miles to and from the local train station.

We had a very good stay in Haus Dent Blanche, Apartment Pollux with 4 people (parents and 2 kids).Good location, easily arrived the apparment even with 4 luggages without taxi from Zermatt train station. It's close to both river area and main shopping street. The apartment is equippped every kitchen gears (elctric stove, oven, microwave, dish washer) and kitchen accessories which everything you can think about (glasses, dishes, knife, fork and even the Fondue pot, etc.), this helped us to easily prepare the dishes when we need to.The apartment allows 4 people to sleep (one big bed in main room for 2 people, 2 single beds were folded inside the closet of living room). You can even see Matterhorn while sitting on the dining table which knows the weather for the day to decide our schedule whether going up to the mountain areas.Thanks ZermattHoliday for the thoughfull setting for the apartment, we had a enjoyful and warm stay from heart.

The location was one of the best in Zermatt. The apartment was amazing, clean, with a lot of space, well furnished and with a beautiful view on the mountain and on the old center of the village. The hosts were very friendly and helpful! All was perfect
