Unacceptable. The rental car leaked oil all over our garage floor. Avis overfilled the oil which caused the leak. After 3 hours speaking with Avis we managed to reach Avis Geneva branch. The manager Audrey was unhelpful and rude, she was unwilling to provide compensation, help with the cleaning or answer our questions. Her main point “cars break down, it happens”. She even hung up the phone on us despite us remaining friendly whilst trying to have them help us. There is oil all over the garage, thanks Avis!Avoid this branch at all costs!!

I was overcharged for my rental. Let alone this rental being 2x as expensive as comparable (and better) car rental companies in Switzerland. The man at the desk was difficult to understand, and didn't have anything to show us, just told us things we had a tough time understanding. For example, I've rented with other companies in Zurich and Geneva, and said company has showed me cars on a screen with all of their details and specifications, and they gave us so much helpful information. Avis didn't tell us about tolls, driving to other countries, they overcharged us and they charge 2x prices of other companies, and their SUV" is laughable. We paid extra for an SUV and they gave us a tiny sedan with a back that didn't dip down. However

Beware! Avis scammed me out of $4,000!I rented a car for 3 weeks from Avis. I declined the ~$70 per day insurance. The car I was given was in very poor condition: lots of body damage, missing door seals making it very noisy on the highway.The agent told me that the car was in poor condition and not all the damage was logged and suggested that I could take pictures but it wasn't completely necessary because they were aware of the state of the car.It was very late in the evening and I was exhausted after a long day of travel so I foolishly didn't take any pictures.When I returned the car I was billed $4,000 for a variety of tiny dings around the car that were very clearly related to a variety of small incidents, no doubt over the lifetime of the car.I did appeal this. The appeal was denied on the basis that without pictures I couldn't prove that the damage was preexisting. I asked for any pictures of the car before I rented it so that I could show the damage _was_ preexisting, but was ignored. I also asked if the appeal staff could talk to the agents in Geneva familiar with the car. I was ignored again.Overall, I had a very sub-par car for my rental period and then was basically scammed out of $4,000. Needless to say that I will never rent from Avis again and I'd definitely recommend avoiding them.

حجزت سياره من شركه ايفس الجزء الفرنسي وتم سحب مبلغ 365 يورو من بطاقتي ورفضت طلب التامين واعادتها الى البطاقه ومنذ ذلك الوقت اتصل عليهم وارسل ايميلات ولا يوجد اى رد منهم لماذا كل ذلك ايفس علماً ان من قام بذلك سيده من الجنسيه المغربيه وكان يوجد بعض الخدوش كذلك على السياره واخبرتني انه بامكاني تصويرها وعند تسليم السياره فى مطار فرانكفورت اقوم باظهار ذلك لخدمه العملاء .. هل هاذا الاجراء صحيح

Don't pick them if you fancy receiving a pre booked car. Arrived to the airport and got told we're out of cars at the moment go wander around for a few hours and maybe we'll give u a call with an update" the lady at the counter made it sound like it's our fault for booking a car and arriving and expecting the car to be there. Just all around rude and bad support

Vorab zu einem günstigen Preis gebuchte Autos haben im Dezember immer noch Sommerreifen. D. h. man muss einen anderen Wagen zu sehr viel höheren Preisen mieten. Und es gab spät abends natürlich auch nur noch SUVs. Zudem gab keine Einweisung in das Fahrzeug, was bei einem nagelneuen Hybrid-SUV zu viel Sucherei in der Bedienungsanleitung führt. Letztlich standen dann diverse Fehlermeldungen in der Art EV-System - service needed"

Attention ⚠️ ⚠️ ⚠️Returned car out of hours.Car had no damage. Photos were taken..Company keeps 550 euros and does not even detail the damage in the charge until I requested evidence.The only evidence provided was a qoute made by themselves. No real evidence. What about photos?Very disappointed as have been a customer regularly for many years but I will avoid Avis in future.Very poor service with very poor tactics to take money even though there is nobody to check the car.

Worst customer service ever!!!!! DO NOT rent with them.We booked a car for 1pm pick up and the lady at the counter said there’s no cars at all and we need to wait until however late there’s a car or upgrade ourselves for extra 100fr per day for a premium car. She even said we should’ve call or come ask at the counter before booking. How do people come before to check if there are cars when they plan to fly to the the airport on the same day!!!?? People’s got plans!!!!What’s the point of booking online?? Their online system overbooked and the customer service was bad.
