Indie Campers Geneva - Pick-up Center

Expérience déplorable avec Indie Campers ! Notre séjour de 3 nuits a été écourté d'une nuit car la personne qui s'occupait de la prise en charge depuis Genève était… partie. En compensation, un hôtel discount le long de l'autoroute, pratiquement isolé de tout à 10km du centre de Genève ! aucune compensation réelle pour la gêne occasionnée si ce n'est le remboursement de la nuit non utilisée. C’est une honte ! nous avons dû louer une voiture dans une autre agence pour 24 heures par leur faute.Prévenus de ce décalage 1h avant Check in par mail ! Alors que nous étions déjà arrivé de Paris sur la gare de Genève ! La moindre des chose était de nous prévenir la veille, mais non nous avons été prévenus au dernier moment !Service client déplorable, qui gère les problèmes à distance sans vraiment être en contact avec les dépôts sur place ! Nous avons décidé de nous déplacer au culot le lendemain matin après notre nuit à l'hôtel pour récupérer le van directement au dépôt grâce à Nelson sur place qui a été très compréhensif et réactif car sinon le service client nous demandait d’attendre 14h30 !! Nous avions donc un van non nettoyé pas prêt puisque Nelson avait été envoyé le jour même seul depuis Vienne pour préparer… 9 vans !! Et heureusement que nous nous sommes déplacé, car la plus grosse blague c'est que déjà avec un jour de retard le service client ayant pourtant promis de demander à ce que le van soit prêt le matin a osé nous envoyer un message dans la journée (alors que nous avions déjà récupéré le van grâce à Nelson) pour reporter à nouveau la récupération du van… à 17h ! l'entrepôt était dans un état lamentable limite déchèterie …Une honte !! Une compensation supplémentaire aurait été la moindre des choses ne serait-ce que pour couvrir les frais engagés pour cette journée perdue. Et perdre une journée entière sur un week-end de 3 jours n'est pas négligeable. Nous ne vous remercions PAS DU TOUT !!

Hola, llevamos varias semanas intentando realizar un alquiler de la Nomad y a la hora de realizar el pago nos da erros... Tu banco no acepta la transacción". Despues de varias consultas con el banco nos dicen que es fallo de su página

We rented the Nomad for a week & collected from Geneva & everything was great. At collection the van was clean & ready, the staff were really helpful and professional. No issues with the van during the trip & the staff gave us lots of helpful tips. Drop off also efficient and easy. Happy to recommend this company :)

Belle expérience en Corse. Nous sommes partis de Genève où Daniel s'est très bien occupé de nous. Le camping car était quasi neuf et propre. A part un petit souci avec la serrure de la porte du camping car et la porte du congélateur qui ne pensait qu a tomber, tout ok. Un peu plus de matériel de cuisine serait bienvenu (verres,couteaux , passoire..) .Par contre, gros bémol pour le site même d Indie campers absolument pas digne d une entreprise qui se veut leader en Europe. Ce n est pas admissible de laisser les clients sous la pluie lors des check in-out. Tout est open air, pas de réception-bureau, et l équipe doit préparer et nettoyer les véhicules en plein air, même pas un abri couvert .Courage à eux. Sur le site Web, les infos ne sont pas facile à trouver , notamment le contact téléphonique ciblé. A force de vouloir faire des économies, la direction va y perdre sa réputation et qualité. Dommage.Encore merci à Daniel !

Alquilamos una marco polo durante 8 días desde el 16 de Agosto. Tanto la recogida como la entrega fueron perfectas, todo muy bien explicado y sin ningún problema. Gran atención por parte de Dani y Amanda. La furgo un 10 y la atención también. Un saludo.

I rented Indie Campers for a trip with my family of five from 4/25/2023-4/29/2023.The staffs was nice and professional. The vehicle is very good, beautiful and very suitable for relaxing with the family. All equipment is provided including equipment for cooking and chairs for relaxing outside the campsite.The return process was very easy and the staff very professional and friendly.I will definitely come to rent Indie Campers when I have the chance to come on holiday in Switzerland again.

Last year, we've picked up our Indie Camper in 'Geneva', it was delivered in the following state:- leaking gas installation- dangerous tire pressure (4.6 bar!)- winter tires in summer- missed oil change (they tried to make us loose one day and drive hundreds of km to have it fixed)- noisy brakes (probably ending pads)It had months of defects ignored or fixed with a silver tape(!) - according to local provider typical, as they don't have resources or time to fix it:- leaking water tap (fixed with tape, but still leaks a lot)- not working grey water indicator- broken back cabinet door (fixed with tape, doesn't close), inside broken shelves- roof fabric holes (both sides cut where they meet metal construction)- seat drawer has a crack on the side and barely opens and closes- seats and floor incredibly stained in numerous places- top cabinet almost impossible to open- the cleaning set has only shovel, no sweep (funny joke, but not useful)- yellow vest only (required for each passenger)- no front, nor back, nor trunk carpets- missing floor light covers x2- back shutter partially broken, door shutter barely movesCamper was dirty, with grey water tank full, smelling badly, windshield disgusting and fat on the inside. We were repeatedly proposed discounts for the future orders as recompensation, we chose reimbursement which 1 year later is still not happening. They have also delayed delivery of our fine by 4 months! which means we will need to pay twice the amount. They may appologize, but take no responsibility for any of this.I have rented campers in numerous places all over the world. I have never met service as bad as here. We have photos and emails to back all that up.

Me parece vergonzoso que se permita hacer el check-in a una hora en la que la OFICINA ESTÁ CERRADA. Suerte tuvimos de que Lucien quisiera venir a recibirnos en su tiempo libre, siendo un profesional agradable y empático. Lo único útil que hizo atención al cliente (número que por suerte vimos a través de una ventana, no costaría NADA que dieran este número por email por si hay problemas) fue llamar a Lucien, porque no estaban siendo sinceros con la realidad del problema.Pongo dos estrellas porque nos quedamos hora y media tirados en la calle sin saber si tendríamos furgoneta o no. Si fuera por Lucien (muchísimas gracias por tu trato) y el resto de chicos, pondríamos 5.

Very bad experience, borderline SCAMHad a really bad experience with IndieCampers.TLDR:- charged ~1400€ for a small chip on the windshield that would have cost 160€ to repair at CarGlass- poorly maintained and cleaned van- False information given at check-in and check-out regarding AdBlueWe rented a van from Geneva for a 1.5 week trip in France.Windshield: On the way back, 2 days before the end of the rental, a small pebble hits the passenger side windshield, causing a tiny chip less than 1cm. After discussing over phone and whatsapp, we agree with IndiCampers to try and get it repaired at a Carglass on our way. Unfortunatly, during peak season, all the carglass places we stopped at had a one week waiting time. They did confirm, however, that it could be repaired with resin for a cost of 160€. At check-out, the employee tells us that we'll be charged 215CHF for the chip, the standard cost at IndieCampers, but that we can contest it through Whatsapp. After discussion via whatsapp, email, etc., instead of a partial refund, we receive a new invoice, automatically debited from our credit card for 1200CHF! Without any explanation. We ask for the repair receipt, the van's mileage at the time of the repair, but once again, their whatsapp service avoid these questions and we still have no explanation. I'm sure the van was rented out in the same condition right after us, and the repair didn't cost them much, was covered by their insurance, but they're making 1400CHF off our back. I call that a SCAM.AdBlue: At check-in, the employee who had us fill out the contract explained that id the vehicle runs out of AdBlue, we need to refill it, keep the receipt, and we will be reimbursed. After 200km, the vehicle asks for AdBlue. I buy some, fill it up, and keep the receipt. At check-out, another employee confirms once again that we'll be reimbursed by sending the receipt to the WhatsApp chatbot. Someone responds that no, the policy is: they lend us a vehicle with over 50% AdBlue, and we have to return it with over 50% as well. I reply that with only 200km, I find it hard to believe there was over 50%. No further response from them regarding AdBlue after this message and still no reimbursement.Van quality: The van had damage on the side, a cupboard door that wouldn't close and would sometimes open during the journey, causing pots and pans to spill out. Another cupboard door was jammed, making that storage space unusable.The fridge had been cleaned with soap but not rinsed. A layer of frozen soap covered the walls. We didn't realize it immediately, and all the food we put in it tasted like soap, so we had to throw it all away.We found belongings from previous renters in the van, showing that the cleaning wasn't done thoroughly.A power strip was provided but wasn't compatible with the van's outlets -> useless.

Friendly staff. Helpful and given the necessary information.The car was ok, apart from an empty gas bottle to start with. It took me several hours to make the heating work with WhatsApp help from indie. Avoidable.To mention the absolute inadequate pick up place between two containers. No real lobby, no place to hide from the rain, no place to wait an sit down queuing. Plus the containers, which were provided should serve as an office, but were crammed with equipment, replacement parts, toilet paper, tires, sheet, baby seats. Absolutely inadequate and the personel quite sorry about it.
