Wonderful region. Lots of brochure and info given by the very kind staff at the tourist office. Many points of interest in the area. Enjoy Nyon region and the Geneva lake! :-)

Nyon Region Tourism
This compact tourism office provides many information on what to do, where to stay and where to eat in this region of Nyon, by the lake Geneva. The town itself is small and very pretty, with the chateau dominating the skyline. The old part near the lake is well maintained, lively with shops and restaurants. There is a public beach on the lake where people can bath. For me, Nyon is a must visit even though for just half a day.

Schade dass es offenbar für Womo Touristen keine Stellplätze gibt. Es hätte uns weitergeholfen wenn man uns wenigstens etwas in der Nähe empfohlen hätte. Leider nein. Wir haben es dann doch ohne die Hilfe der Touristen Information geschafft.

Why hire employees in the tourism office, if all they do is just give you the city map without any explanation or visiting tips and says „You can read it yourself and find out yourself“? Better to replace them with automated Kiosks.

When you like the adventures of TinTin: TinTin visited Nyon. Ask for the route to discover the spots Hergé used in his comic book. Very funny to see them in real life.
