Tenuta Casa Cima

Wonderful place, wonderful staff, wonderful view and more than more!

When we stumbled upon this place on Google Earth, we thought the pictures and description on the website seemed to good to be true. But we took the gamble anyway and booked for a week in august. That turned out to be too short! We can only affirm this place is truly 'A paradise surrounded by palm trees and vineyards' as claimed on the website.We stayed in the 'Superior' house which is a robust house, much more spacious than we'd expected and with a phenomenal view. The perfect setting for your breakfast. Some parts of the house need some maintenance, but in general it's very well equipped (although some more towels would have been nice). But we didn't spend much time in the house actually. There are too many to things to do and places to visit around the area.The biggest attractions of Tenuta Casa Cima are of course the private cable car that goes 100m up the mountain and over the gorge (what a spectacular way to start your holiday!) and the gorgeous waterfall we had as a neighbor. Our kids also really loved building dams in the basin below the waterfall or spending time in the hammock. Though the cable car looks like it has been there for several decades, the system is being very well maintained by a specialized company. During our stay we had our own key and were able to operate the system as often as needed.We really recommend visiting this place!

Wir genießen hier oben die Aussicht und die Ruhe. Es wird Familiär geführt und man fühlt sich gut aufgehoben.Preisleistung eher im höheren Segment aber gerechtfertigt.Alle Jahre gerne wieder

Die Tenuta Casa Cima befindet sich oben bei der Seilbahn. Sie ist viel professioneller geführt als das Ferienhaus Chez Fritz aux Palmes, das man hier im Hintergrund sieht.
