We are a UK family, joined ZIS 2019, two children at the Middle School campus. We are hugely impressed with ZIS, it has opened our children’s eyes to new ways of learning, given them a sense of agency over their education and in just a short time has taught them skills that will last a lifetime. Maths and language teaching in particular have been exceptional compared to our UK selective private school experience, but we have been very impressed by the dedication and enthusiasm of the teaching staff across the board. Culturally, the pupil community seems very healthy - there seems to be room for different kids to do their different things without peer pressure - and pastoral care (for a teen/pre-teen international move which was not easy) has also been extremely good. The extra-curricular offering provided by specialist teachers has been great.

Had a seamless experience for the SAT and two AP tests. Thank you to Reina and Alice for enabling me to late test for AP Microeconomics!

Superlative facilities, faculty, and teaching philosophy

Public schools in switzerland are better and offer a much broader education. Moreover, Zurich‘s high schools are among the best schools in the world. I stronly advice against the ZIS.
