Very good hotel to spend the night and walk around the city of swchyz and go for a hike, the rooms are pretty normal looking and clean, the locks are confusing to use and some of them don't even work or where already locked. The toilets were clean but the shower head was crooked and didn't work very wellBreakfast is very expensive at 16 eur for a buffet which there aren't many choices to eat, some ham,croissant, bread, yogurts, coffeee and juicesThere is a pub on the bottom floor which is nice and you can't hear anything when you're in your room which let's you sleep or party, whatever you want

I’ve been to Switzerland many times and have hiked amazing trails and have seen breathtaking sights. However, my stay at Hirschen this time around (I stayed here for 1 night 5 years ago too) curiously made me feel at home in Switzerland for the first time. The amenities aren’t the nicest per se, but something about a big bike club celebrating at the pub to live bands playing there to even just hanging out at the bar on a relatively empty Sunday night where the few locals actually tried talking to me (and even offered a room should I ever return) made me feel so very comfortable even to the point where I may or may not have tried flirting with a cute staff member. It’s experiences like this that make me want to move to a Swiss mountain town in Schwyz and grow with the community.

Been here with a friend on a cyxling trip on the way to the Gotthardpass. Great hostel with the possibility to put the bikes into a garage. Super welcoming. Nice bar downstairs and a clean kitchen for preparing your own meal. Would come here any time again. Merci vielmals

I really enjoyed my stay here. The staff was so helpful and warm :) Rooms come with complete kitchens, and the place is at the base of Stoos, so easy climbing

Great little hotel with clean and spacious rooms. Your getaway to the Stoos funicular and the famous ridge hike.Good restaurants in the village with lots of options for food.Highly recommend.

Wir waren 6 Nächte hier auf dem Weg als Pilger auf dem Jakobsweg.Das Personal ist sehr nett. Ab 8 Uhr kann man frühstücken für 16 CHF. Preisleistung passt hier. Zimmer relativ neu und sauber. Gemeinschaftsküche steht zur Verfügung sowie ein großer Kühlschrank. Bushaltestelle 1 min vor der Unterkunft entfernt. Wir hatten ein Doppelzimmer mit WC und Dusche auf dem Zimmer.Pub im EG. Man bekommt eine Gästekarte und einen Welcome Drink :) würde es weiterempfehlen.

Good value for money. Double room with shower was clean and well maintained. It’s pretty basic but works well for staying for a night or two. Staff was very helpful and welcoming, we got a free drink at the bar downstairs. Pillows are too soft for my taste and there are no dark curtains. Otherwise everything was alright. Very close to the main attractions of Schwyz and to the hiking area. There is a free parking right next to the hotel.
