The Kreuzkapelle (Chapel of the Cross) is a very nice little chapel built originally in 1561. The current portal in sandstone is dated 1787. The latest restoration was done in 1964/65. It is worth spending a few minutes in this little chapel, away of the busyness of Appenzell, specially during the summer months. Pay attention to the benches and glass work. Really a great and nice little place...even cute!
