Hundert Hunde

It took me considerable time to gather my thoughts and write this review, but I feel compelled to share my disappointing experience with this dog grooming salon.My journey with Hundert Hunde began when my puppy was just 4 months old. We chose this salon to introduce our dog to grooming and because of the high praise for Cristiane, as evident in the reviews.However, my perception changed due to an unexpected turn of events. After a few weeks from our third and latest appointment, I received a text message from the owner, notifying me that my now-10 months old poodle would no longer be accepted at her salon. According to her, this was because the puppy was too nervous and uncomfortable. Tbh, I was taken aback by this sudden decision and by the lack of communication as she did not give any prior indication during - or right after - the treatment that she would no longer groom him.This led me to sought the services of a new groomer with 30 years of experience. To our dismay, he discovered that our puppy's fur was riddled with holes and entirely asymmetrical due to the previous cut. As we conversed, I mentioned that Cristiane had previously muzzled him during the grooming session due to his nervousness and excessive movement. To my surprise and inexperience, the new groomer informed me that this was an entirely wrong approach, particularly when dealing with a puppy. He emphasized that puppies, even more so than older dogs, do not typically enjoy grooming and cannot be expected to remain still like statues right off the bat.This realization shed light on the reason why our dog was always so anxious about visiting Hundert Hunde.In stark contrast, the new groomer demonstrated the right blend of experience and approach. He assured me that my puppy merely required a little more comfort and patience (and definitely NOT a muzzle). With skilled hands and the proper approach, he successfully groomed my dog without ANY issues.This new experience has underscored the importance of finding a competent professional. It has become evident to me that the problem did not lie with my miniature poodle puppy but with the APPROACH he received (i.e., the muzzle and the way she handled him).I am profoundly disappointed with the overall experience, but fortunately, it led us to discover a more skilled and caring groomer who can meet our grooming needs.P.s.: pictures of the referred to as aggressive puppy" attached

I have only amazing things to say about Cris and Hundert Hunde. Cris is so sweet with my pup Willow and really helps put her at ease. She comes home looking absolutely adorable. Cris was also kind enough to have Willow come in as a puppy and get her used to the shears and blower free of charge. I'm so grateful to have Willow in such good hands!

We have been going to Cris for 3 years and very happy with the service. Cris is kind and friendly and takes excellent care of our dog. Although our dog isn't the biggest fan of getting a haircut she loves seeing Cris and always looks great afterwards.

Cris has always been fantastic with our little dog - we took her when she was only a few months old and Cris has been really helpful with giving advice about how to deal with her fur in between visits. Very patient, great service and value for money.

I am really satisfied with Cris and her grooming. She is very kind and warm hearted. Especially I can trust her. I am happy to find her and want to visit her all the time.

cristine is an amazing groomer!! she consistently gives my havanese dog a perfect haircut, and it only takes 2 hours. she specializes in small dog cuts and it really shows. you can tell she cares about her dog clientele and takes care to make sure they dogs are comfortable. usually my dog is scared to even walk into a groomer; not here, she wags her tail and is happy to see cristine every time.

Cris is amazing!! She really cares about the look you want and is always smiling :) I've never had a bad experience here. Definitely the best dog grooming in Zurich!

Cris did an awesome job with my Bernedoodle. Stella looks great and was given lots of love and attention. I highly recommend Hundert Hunde if you're in need of a kind and professional dog groomer in Zurich.
