My family and I really enjoyed their “tacos.” The owner is Muslim and very kind. After we ordered our food he insisted that we take cold drinks on the house. I highly recommend French Tacos!!

Just by the food itself I'd give it a solid 3, nothing bad but nothing outstanding either. One good thing is that they do give you quite a lot in tacos if you are hungry. Now onto the bad things:1. Outdated Menu with 0 updates anywhere, I posted the new ones in the review.2. Still no french fries for at least 3 months now(Thew review about the fries is that old so It's probably even older than 3 months). I do not know if they never reordered fries or the machine broke.3. They also didn't have beef(grounded) for whatever reason.4. As replacement order we changed our beef options toColorado but the guy made Tender instead.4. When we wanted to pay the machine didnt work at all and they guy didnt know how to fix it either, even after calling probably his boss(?).5. Now onto the guy(server/cook/cashier)1 i kept mentioning. Not to discriminate or anything but if you are working at service position in the center of Basel, I expect you to have basic German or English knowledge at least. The guy could speak none of those and only remenber the dishes names. He was alone there so He was both cashier, cook and server. Ofc he didnt do the serving part, we went there to pick up our orders on our own. Instead of just idling or looking at phone he couldve at least learned some German when no one was around as we were the only one that came into the building at that time.6. After payment he did not ask nor gave us the receipe(to be fair we also forgot about it til one of us mentioned something about potential food poisoning as the ingredients looked somewhat sussy).7. The Tacos weren't wrapped in layers of paper or bag, it was straight up naked on the plate.8. The plate itself didn't have a layer of paper for cleaness either.Anyway, price was okay for the size and amount, maybe not so for the taste. Service was basically none-existent and inside of the restaurant was very loud due to some vent or something.We had very high hopes for it as we discovered a while ago but never had the chance to visit. In the end the we were dissapointed and aren't really willing to visit again. If I see positive changes I might give it another try.Good luck until then.

Geschmaklose Tacos und absolut widerliche Toiletten. Pommes gibt es als Beilage nicht, nur unfrittiert und labbrig in den Tacos. Kann ich leider nicht empfehlen.

Super bien accueilli, parle français et servi rapidement. Les tacos sont INCROYABLES⭐️Rien à redire je conseil vivement de vous y régaler.

Das beste am Essen war die Cola. Taco war halbwarm und bestand eigentlich nur aus Sauce. Toiletten riechen so, als wäre man im Stall. Nie wieder.
