I did three days of snowboarding lessons with Ralf. In three days, I went from being a complete beginner to making it down blue slopes. It was great! I really can't recommend him enough. If you're debating a group lesson with another school in the area, or a private lesson with Ralf, go with Ralf.Day 1: BasicsI'm in pretty bad shape. Ralf was patient and supportive, he went over the basics, and worked at a speed that kept me making progress while not completely tiring me out. By the end of the first day, I was starting to figure out turns.Day 2: Turns!I had mentioned the previous day (in passing) that my left knee was hurting. Ralf started the day by asking me about this and adjusting the binding to be more comfortable on my knee. I didn't prompt this at all.We then worked on doing turns all day. Again, I'm in bad shape, so I had trouble making it down the hill without my muscles giving out. Ralf made sure to encourage me to rest so that I could make it through the day without hurting myself.By the end of the day, my knee was feeling better. The adjustments that Ralf made were a huge help.Day 3: I fell down :(On the third day we were going to start working on carving. Ralf was trying to show me something, and I started turning while moving too slowly. I fell down and hurt my elbow.Ralf wasn't pushy at all. He looked at it, made sure I was okay, and then asked what I wanted to do. I decided to stop early because I didn't want to make it worse.I was pretty disappointed because I was really enjoying the lessons. I felt like I was making progress, but I work with my hands. I figured it was better to be safe than sorry.Day 4: ?I came down to check out of my hotel and Ralf had left a note with reception. He left a gift card for a two hour lesson!I really did not expect this at all. To be clear to anyone reading this: If you take lessons like this, you might hurt yourself. In my case, it was 100% my fault. I had no expectation that Ralf would do something like this.Throughout this whole experience Ralf was kind, supportive, and extremely helpful. Look no further if you're trying to find a skischule in Flims!...One more thing!I'm a native English speaker living in Switzerland. I've been trying to learn German since I moved here. Ralf was really cool about this. After I told him about this, he did the lesson in both (excellent) English and German. It was nice getting to learn snowboarding and work on my German at the same time.

Ralf did a fabulous job at giving my wife and me a 2-hr intro to Cross-Country Skating. He built up the lessons from bottom up using some modules helping find the right rhythm and the right balance on the skis. Ralf is also a very friendly ski coach. We really enjoyed the class and would recommend him to anyone.

Durch zwei Lektionen haben wir als Beginner einen sehr guten Einstieg ins Skifahren bekommen. Die Lehrerin ist dabei perfekt auf jeden einzelnen in der Gruppe von sechs Leuten eingegangen. Ich würde nächstes Jahr auf jeden Fall wieder hier für einen fortgeschrittenen Kurs anfragen.

We had the pleasure to have Ralf as our instructor for three hours - but it felt like years of progress! Ralf has a visual and practical way of explaining which is very easy to follow, and easy to remember for practising after the lesson is finished. Also his English is excellent so we had no problem in following

Ralf ist ein SUPER Skilehrer - er geht sehr individuell auf den Kursteilnehmer ein und hat ein echtes Interesse an dessen Fortschritten - er analysiert Fehler / Schwächen und zeigt einem auf, wie man diese vermeiden kann - auch wenn dies nicht auf Anhieb klappt verliert er nie die Geduld und versucht auch mal einen anderen Weg... ich kann Ralf in jeder Hinsicht empfehlen, mit ihm habe ich beim Skifahren und beim Langlaufen tolle Fortschritte gemacht! Ganz herzlichen Dank!!

Mein Sohn (9J, hochsensibel) und ich durften 2x 2 Stunden von Isabel lernen. DANKE ISABEL! Ein absolut effektives Erlebnis, ich habe das Gefühl nach nur 2 Stunden meilenweit weiter gekommen zu sein, vielen Dank an Ralf, ich war fasziniert von seinem Input und wie leicht es umzusetzen war. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Wir haben als blutige Anfänger ein Launglaufkurs mit Ralf gebucht. Es hat mega Spass gemacht. Ralf hat uns mit super Übungen das Vertrauen in die Langlaufskis gegeben und uns die Technik des Langlaufens unkompliziert erklärt. Ralf ist ein super sympatischer Lehrer und wir können ihn sehr empfehlen. Danke Ralf für die zwei super Stunden.

We were two people and had a private class with Ralf. It was great. Ralf is a nice and funny person and could understand our needs. I would do a class with him again.
