We visited Saltz for the signature Dolder Brunch. It was a calm, comfortable and overall a very pleasant experience. We were sited on the terrace and enjoyed the wonderful views of the city and Zürich lake. While we definitely enjoyed ourselves, we did not find the experience extraordinary. Except for one, we were not wowed by the dishes - perhaps our expectations were too high.

We had a celebration with a big group: I contact them on the phone and they were very helpful as to choose the menu and the cake for the occasion. The terrace has a very beautiful view. Food is very good quality. Overall very solid evening.

Wir waren zum Brunch. Qualität vom Essen 1 A. Sehr frisch und schön eingerichtet. Service war zum Teil nicht sehr aufmerksam. Mussten mehrmals auf gebrauchte Teller zum Abräumen aufmerksam machen. Es wurde nicht der Vorgang erklärt, bis wir uns gemeldet haben. Auch für erstes Getränk, mussten wir den Kellner herbeirufen, um es aufzunehmen zu lassen.

You prepay a fondue set for take away they do not offer it to you when you pay the check. You write them to give humanity a chance to make it right and they don't reply. The company who you booked through, replies instantly.The fondue was average.The tartar was really good, the goose liver was average.Deserts, average.Sometime you feel that a place is not worth your time even for a 1 star review. And that's what I think they deserve.

Very good restaurant located in an outstanding hotel, The Dolder Grand. The food is simply delicious. For beginners, I would recommend their Dorade Royale in Crust and also their delicious Dolder Truffle Fries. The service is top-notch and the atmosphere is great. Very distinct decorations. After dinner you can walk around The Dolder Grand and appreciate the arts, luxury items on display, etc.

Delicious food, first class service and very friendly anf attentive personnel! The view is also wonderful overlooking Zürich and its lake. You feels you are in the nature while you‘re only minuted away from the city. Definitely recommended.

We went to Saltz for Valentine’s Day and ordered the Valentine’s special. It was a 5 course meal and everything tasted fantastic. We found the combination of flavors in every dish as well as the succession of dishes very much to our taste. The selection of wines by the glass and bottle was very good and made to accommodate all tastes. The time between the dishes was also optimal. The service was perfect - the staff maintained a great balance of professionalism and friendliness.Overall a very positive experience, we intend to go back.

Came for a last min bday dinner as we couldn’t get to our booked restaurant due to road closure. They were very flexible and seated us quickly. The menu was extensive and had good interesting dishes, not your boring every restaurant offerings. Everything was excellent. The service was a bit lacking for a Dolder restaurant, maybe there were too few servers and too many diners. Nevertheless they were very polite.
