International Institute De Lancy (IIL)

Super école dans laquelle mes enfants ont pu s'épanouir. L'équipe pédagogique est formidable et le système de soutien systématique lorsqu'une lacune est repérée pour ne laisser aucun élève à la traîne vraiment unique. C'est après une analyse quasi scientifique que nous avons choisi cette école sur Genève et nous ne sommes pas déçus. Les enseignants sont bienveillants et les enfants heureux.

I absolutely love this school! I’ve been studying here for 12 years now(From nursery and currently in year 11 :)) and I’ve the seen it evolveinto what it is now,an academically driven school, full of great facilities and technology to aid our education. The teachers are extremely helpful, friendly and professional, they always try their best to guide us to success. The extra curricular activities are great and a variety are offered, for example I’m part of the girls football team and we get great opportunities to compete as a team (e.g. we went to Verona for an international competition). However my favourite part of the school is the atmosphere, everyone is extremely welcoming and we are like a big family!

Cette école donne son maximum pour les enfants! Je suis plus que satisfaite de leur professionnalisme et leur dévouement.

I was in this school for less than a year.Even though I was new in Switzerland the teachers were very supportive and kind.Even when I was put in a different class for children who could not speak French, Mr. Michelle was very supportive and kind to me.The sports lessons were also loved by me as I used to hate sports.Loved this school.Nilisha Waghmare.

Excellent facilities and resources, although at a high price. Many of the teachers are extremely helpful and will go out of their way to aid students, which can be quite reassuring in the final years of formal schooling. I have been at this school for the entirety of my education, and will leave with many happy memories.

Primary is amazing, in French and English sections, I would recommend it but secondary not so much...My 3 children attended this school for 2 years. I was utterly disappointed by the lack of management and professionalism in French secondary. School profitability is their sole concern, none of the children social, physical or emotional skills are being developed, hardly academic’s skills on a very restricted area.After the good experience we had in American and English schools abroad, it has been quite a bad experience.If you have children there, I suggest you make yourself your own opinion and challenge the management style behind their nice talks, when you get the chance to meet them!

Pour y avoir enseigné, je peux vous dire que IIL est un institut où l'exigence, la bienveillance et la tolérance reignent. Les professeurs sont pleinement dédiés à leurs élèves et n'ont comme seule préoccupation la réussite et l'épanouissement scolaire et personnel de leurs élèves. Je reste très reconnaissante pour l'accueil et la confiance qui m'ont été accordés par TOUS, et plus particulièrement par M Jacomme qui est toujours à l'écoute de ses collègues, de son équipe mais aussi de ses élèves. Un GRAND merci à lui.

I attended this school for 3 years. It was wonderful - they like to help integrate different ages and backgrounds which really helped me grow as a person and learn to interact with many different people. They also enjoyed holding fun intercurricular events. I have very fun and fond memories. Much better than the schools I later went on to study at. I have since started the University of Bristol in England studying Anthropology.

This school is amazing!! They have excellent teachers who go above and beyond to help the students achieve the best grades possible. The relatively small number of students per class, makes it so that the teachers can easily help students individually during the class or even after through e-mails or meetings. Programs such as the IB are excellent in preparing seniors on their way to University. The school facilities themselves are top of the line enhancing the students learning abilities in the classroom. There is a wonderful atmosphere in the school, we can sense that the students are happy and enjoy learning. Overall this is a fantastic school!

Pretty good school. Been here 4 years and teachers are very nice and help students achieve greatness and unlock their academic potential. Beware for the hall monitors, they will shout at you. Very, very expensive too.
