The Geneva Skateboard Museum / Pulp68

My family and I had a wonderful time here. The owner is truly passionate about skating, and is a Gen Xer, so totally identified with me. He teaches skating and hosts a number of skate clubs in Geneva. He personally led us floor by floor, room by room to each exhibit in the museum (a three story house). Each room holds a different theme or period, such as the 60s-70s, 80s, 90s, etc. They charge nothing for admission and he interacts with you personally, is great with kids and very patient with questions. They don't ask for donations, but they do sell their own branded t-shirts (we bought some great ones), as well as boards and equipment for skaters. Also gives you a gift of branded stickers when you leave. Can't recommend enough when visiting. Also, we were staying close to the lake and decided to walk (it was a bright sunny day), it did turned out to be a hike but we saw a lot of the city we wouldn't otherwise see and it took about 40 minutes each way.

Awesome place. Lots of cool art on the boards and the owner is nice and gave me a detailed tour in English. He has boards from the start of sidewalk surfing to today. Highly recommended. It was also free! There is a store in which you can purchase things as well.

I am so surprise with the amount of Skateboards in this museum. The owner (founder) is really friendly, and he should definitely expand the culture.

Musée extraordinaire qui ne paie pas mine depuis l’extérieur. Une équipe de passionné retrace toute l’histoire du Skateboard. Jim comme guide est incroyable on ne peu être insensible à cette visite remplie d’anecdotes. Bravo pour ce magnifique lieu et plein de succès pour la suite

It's a bit off the beaten track but if you are interested in skateboard culture you should definitely go here. You will not regret it. Skateboards from every period - from the 50ies to today - and from a bunch of designers. Jim is the perfect guide. He should start charging for the entrance.

It was really cool being able to see all the boards throughout the different eras of skateboarding. I entered knowing only a few things about the history of skateboarding and left with good knowledge behind the history and other fun facts about it. The owner was really nice and knew what he was talking about. If you are ever in Geneva, check this place out. It’ll be worth it, trust me.
