Hertz Autovermietung, Lugano

I've rented moving vans from Zurich and returned them to Lugano several times.( One way return rental). Every return was a smooth one. The people working here are helpful and friendly. I will happily use them again whether I am renting from Lugano or Zurich.

I have rented a car for few days from lugano and returned in Zurich.The service was great when I took the car and I didn't take any internal photos of the car since I wanted to trust the company and just enjoy my vacation.When I returned the car, the company claimed that the trunk cover was missing and I like what is a trunk cover"Before we took the car they did vacum cleaning and might have removed it but I have never had any trunk cover in the car.So I just want to say thanks for the service but it is not respectful to claim something so absured as missing trunk cover when the car was in perfect condition and I included all the refueling receipts and did my best with the car.Hertz should take photos of inside if that's important and not only outside in order to claim this kind of statements.Next time you will claim a missing screw without any proof.I am will to change my review once proper apologies are sent and no charges above the receipt happened."

I had a wonderful experience renting a car from Hertz Lugano. And i would like to thank Giada for arranging the return of my lost documents i left in the car. Such a wonderful person. And all the staff in that office are helpful and have a smile on their face all the time.

I rent at this Hertz agency officially called LUGANO RAILWAY STATION" and gave back the car at the same location. After 2 weeks from car return I find out that I was charged 86 CHF for giving back the car at a different location called LUGANO DT

As a first timer car rental, things could not have been more smooth. We got a nice Volvo V40 which was a nice upgrade from the Ford Focus we were expecting to receive. Service was great and friendly. Price was good.Only thing that could have been better was that they did not mention to us that the day on which we would return the car was an holiday and they would not be opened for business in the afternoon. Instructions on the folder were clear enough though.

I took the car for a day and they took an insurance of 200 Swiss francs from me and told me that they would return my money after five days and now two weeks have passed and they have not returned my money

Excellent car rental in Lugano. Very professional and friendly team in this location especially a gentleman called Maurizio if my memory doesn't betray me. If u r in Lugano or nearby THATs the office to rent from not any other.

Die Autovermietung ist praktisch gelegen, gleich neben dem Bahnhof. Wir hatten ein fast neues Auto gemietet. Als wir zum ersten Mal ausgestiegen sind, haben wir gesehen, das es Kratzer hatte, die nicht auf dem Protokoll vermerkt waren. Wir haben dann telefoniert. Die Frau am Telefon hat freundlich gesagt, das können wir dann zusammen anschauen, wenn wir den Wagen zurückgeben. Bei der Rückgabe haben wir ihr dann die Schäden gezeigt. Zum Glück mussten wir nichts bezahlen. Das hätte uns recht genervt, wenn wir für Schäden derjenigen hätten bezahlen müssen, die vor uns das Auto gemietet hatten. Also eine Autovermietung, die wir empfehlen können. Wir werden sicher wieder kommen.

Awful service. Took over an hour to get through 3 people despite having two booths manned.Blatantly lied about car availability to get out of work early.
